  1. The T-19 & T-18 use the SAME transmission 'butterfly" pattern, but T-18 is a Windsor block side bell while the T-19 only came behind IDI & 460's Here's the bellhousing page from the parts book. You're looking at '84 on, as that's when hydraulic clutches took over from mechanical Z-bar design.

  3. That's the one I use. (both T-19 & Zf5) 7A603 is just a plastic filler bushing. You use your existing metal clip, as shown for IDI & 460 Edit: I have that slave on my truck right now. If it weren't pouring I'd go outside and take a picture.....
  4. E4TZ 7505-B is the part number you want. Paradoxically, the number ON a Ford part is NOT the part number, it is an engineering number. Look for one marked E4TA 7500-DA, or E7TA 7500-BA The "stud" (7b602) is the mushroom post the clutch throw out arm pivots on.... Edit to add: they are rare as hens teeth!
  5. Sorry to hear about Lesley's emergency. Stop and take time to catch your breath. She needs you now, and you are there for her! May God and the universe come together to bring her a speedy recovery. ๐Ÿ™
  6. Popping on DEcelleration? Super rich idle? Fat and blubbery when you try to give it gas, but it runs better at high rpm? Blown PowerValve. Has ALL the symptoms....๐Ÿ’ก
  7. Remember gentlemen, the number ON a part is NOT the part number! It is an engineering number, and you need the MPC (available on this site) to figure out the proper suffix, and all PARTS numbers will have a 4th character of Z. E9TZ 5060-xx (Probably AA or AB, but I can't say without looking up the part, and I ONLY got on the forum, because I have to take my blood pressure and antibiotics....)
  8. A 460 bell housing. I sold mine when I went Zf-5 in 2011. Walt can wander a bit. But he's a railfan, so he's got to be a good guy.
  9. Go look at the EVTM, in the front, all the grounds are shown.... But I don't think it's a ground. I think you have a crudded up connector under the truck.
  10. Monkey's have tails. Great apes: gibbons, gorillas, orangutan's etc... don't. Even though some (Orangutan's esp) don't really walk on the ground. I'm old enough to remember the original Planet of the Apes. I'll have to check out your site. I like building saws. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Edit: I watch an older guy (Walt) on YouTube Hilltopsawshop. He has fettled* a lot of "kits" in his day, on top of maintaining local cutters equipment.
  11. It's raining. I have a podiatrist appointment for the broken bones in my feet tomorrow @10 and a Cardiac follow up at 1:30 so I don't think I'm going to get anything done tomorrow. ๐Ÿ˜– But I'm trying, as my swelling goes down, and I have less nausea. ๐Ÿ™‚
  12. I have the cover bolts and tag painted in epoxy.... Progress is Gooooood!
  13. But are there more Bullnose members? The only one I know for sure is "Frank Wyatt" aka White Knite. He's in the east somewhere near Kingsport.
  14. Well, I am wondering about his profitability, and about what could be added to my credit card without my consent. I think Dennis Carpenter (not sure, could be another seller) has a shipping fees calculation where the actual amount is added after the order is shipped and invoiced. Iโ€™m always a bit nervous when ordering that wayโ€ฆ That's NEVER a good situation, Jeff! ๐Ÿ™
  15. Welcome! Imagine an undercover Lightning, Gary.. We seem to have a rash of members from NC. They're everywhere, like chiggers!
  16. 701 handles a LOT of "stuff" You'd notice if it was gone.
  17. There's only so much I can do, given the rain. I think I have a guy to press the bearings on, but I just torched the pinion bearing until it dropped into place. (I don't have my oxy setup here. It's PAINFULLY slow!) Anyway, I've got the ring gear located and torqued to 115 lb ft, as marked....
  18. Look at the diagram G105 & G701. There's TWO paths to ground! So while I doubt ground is a problem, you need to look in the front of the appropriate EVTM here on the site. Maybe someone else has the time to show you.....
  19. Welcome! C&C Dually trucks came 4wd. Resizing is easy. Use the sizing tool in the right hand column of the drop-down (Big Size) Are you a Chimp or a Bonobo????
  20. Maybe adapters for HUMVEE wheels?!? You're gonna need a body lift to turn with anything over 33's
  21. Like you said, firewall and tunnel mods. Those DT's are really tall engines. I hope you can get the pan to clear the ground.
  22. Gonna be an interesting beast, Earl! Welcome! What are you planning for a parking/emergency brake?
  23. The Spray Nine worked a treat and I took the rusty cover bolts/studs and put them in a 50/50 bath of Concrete & Metal Prep for a little phosphate finish, hoping to give them a chance, along with my new to me diff tag from Shaun.
  24. Ever wonder why the 302/5.0L was never offered in anything larger than the F250, but the 300/4.9L was offered as the base engine all the way up to the F600? I don't question success. We should all be mature enough to know why. I had a '65 Powerwagon Mason dump with the venerable Dodge slant six. That thing never needed to stop and rest, just like this here Burro. Try that with some high strung througbred!
