Yes, I could probably carve one out of delrin or UHMWPE. I have to get the swelling down in my leg before I can crawl around and remove the parking brake pedal assy. Besides, it's raining for the next 3 days.

Tool To Remove Headlight & Wiper Knobs

India has an astonishing space program. They just landed on the moon! How close is Tamil to say, Sri Lanka/Ceylon? I remember the Tamil Tigers from about the mid '70's -
Vestal is about 4 hours away, near Binghamton. I think Vivek has me covered but thank you, and Jonathan, for doing the legwork.

This is a large part of why I don't want to live on this planet anymore. 😖 -

I use colour, grey and a few others... Tell me something of the varying dialects in your homeland. You've said that your state was under French control, and I know Goa was Portuguese. Then you have Muslim and Buddhist enclaves in the extreme north like Kasmir. I always love to learn -
Quite a lot of that truck is in far flung places (like Big Blue) The Zf-5 S47 gearbox and parking brake are under a disc converted F-350 dually, and I had high hopes for the engine, that ran like a top, but I was in a situation back then and it didn't work out.

Thanks Gary!

Once again I seem to fail at crosswalks, motorcycles, buses and traffic lights. I am going to flat out refuse to train someone else's AI to identify targets. Perhaps Gary can connect us?

Are you sure that isn't marked E4TB 15852-BA? Bill usually doesn't make make mistakes like that.... 🙄 Edit: I stand corrected! I zoomed the heck out of my phone and YOU have it right. Sorry. I have a need, and will try to email you through this clunky forum software....

I'm not picking on anyone or any thing If you can make something intelligible from a Louisiana patois you're doing far better than me.. -
Clutch mystery… what happened here??? 😳
ArdWrknTrk replied to Ford F834's topic in Bullnose Enthusiasts Forum
This (and other engine internals) are one of the few use cases for ARP and the like, if you can't find OEM. Literally, nobody needs them for valve covers or a water pump. I know that this isn't your first rodeo, Jonathan. I hope I didn't come off the wrong way. -

Because what we speak here is not English. Hell, I have a hard enough time understanding people from my own nation (usually the deep south) Not a criticism of them or their vernacular, just an observation of how varied "english" is, in a nation divided by distance and culture. -

I've been all through uhaulteuckpartsonline and don't see the flywheel bolts anymore. 😕 Though I did find a lot of 10 pressure plate bolts, and a whole bunch of E4OD stuff, like shift correction kits and pumps. There's still a bit of Bullnose goodness, but I think a lot of that went away when they were selling pallets of NOS for $100 each. -

👍 Life's blood is nothing to screw around with. ETA: I bought factory flywheel place bolts from u-haul's eBay storefront. Lemme see if they still have them -

I do remember bringing the dash, steering column and heater box from "The Giving Truck" (F-450) to meet you at Walmart in Delaware. So, you don't think the F2 parking brake switch is a fit for my truck... I will have to keep looking, or take Vivek up on his offer. Thanks! 👍

Wow, that must have made a heck of a racket! Why is one flange bolt missing? Why are they G8 and not place bolts, like factory? It does look like the disc was put inside out. -
Fuel gauge not working-again
ArdWrknTrk replied to Ifitaintbroke's topic in Bullnose Enthusiasts Forum
Yes. Hot Fuel Handling was an option. Probably dependent on the DSO where the truck would be sold. -
I will have to take the pedal assembly out, in any case. If I do that I can get a photo of it so we can compare. Thanks for your kind and generous offer!

Fuel gauge not working-again
ArdWrknTrk replied to Ifitaintbroke's topic in Bullnose Enthusiasts Forum
NO! Please take it easy, Jim! Sitting long hours in the rollback is causing edema in my legs & feet. I literally had to get longer laces for Easter! -
Four decades of constant vibration has caused it to snap right off. Also remember, we have the problem with the intermittent wiper module being mounted to the parking brake, and it takes a hit every time you release...

Thank you Bradley. I will check it out -later- when I get my BP back down, cause I feel like I'm ready to have a stroke. -
You can eat fish and birds. You just can't eat anything with fur and breasts. (Mammalian!)

That's the '92, Aeronose switch, and I don't know if I can make it work. R&R the parking brake assembly is a right pita by yourself, in a driveway. My leg is throbbing today. I don't want to be kneeling next to the cab, and it's raining the rest of the week. I need some sleep.

It is a disease that you get from a tick bite. You become allergic to Alpha-Gal It will make you violently ill if you eat mammalian flesh. You're still ok with fish or feathered therapods. Dinosaurs, AKA birds 😉
