  1. Correct. The hole in the ring is about 1/8 of an inch bigger than the filler neck. The actual peice you remove to fill the tank is seled with an o-ring. Push in on the center section and give it small twist. It then pops up and you can unscrew it.
  2. I centered the tank and not the filler neck. Going to move the tank over when i redo my bed floor. The tank can mve to either side by a couple of inches.
  3. I will try and get some pics of the filler neck tomorrow.
  4. The fill cap is a push in and twist style. As of now just a simple hole thru the bed. Filler neck is just below flush. Vent with rollover valve extends over the frame rail and mounts in the fender well above filler neck level.
  5. The next pic is how I have the filler set up on the tank. Do not have any pics of the bed floor with the gas cap.
  6. I used a fuel tank from Tanks inc that is set up for an internal fuel pump with baffles. Used 2 pieces 1 angle iron bolted side to side between lower frame rails. The tank bolts to the angle iron.
  7. Yes i will share. Not alot of pics but will post what i have with details. Will be later this evening before i can post them.
  8. Will do. Will be my winter project. As of now i have no heat are air.

  10. Trying to take some of the shine out of it. Thinking about the later style rear slider with the black frame. As far as the exhaust being short. I installed a fuel tank behind the axle with the fuel fill in the wood floor. Limited me on what i could do with my muffler. Running a 18" one in two out magnaflow. My next project is a Vintage Air A/C system. If there is any interest I will post the install.
  11. Yes I do like the older style grill. My old one had damaged mounting tabs. I found this one local at a good price. Was not sure I would like the look until after i installed it.
  12. Plug came in today. Thanks Rembrant. Almost new looking! Could not ask for more.
