  1. What engine displacement is it, and how big is the carb? (Or specific model like 0-80457-S) Have you looked at the '85 EVTM? Can you identify the connector?
  2. On closer inspection, it looks like SA-FV I'll have to look into that. Even though my 87 diagram looks like someone threw up tri-colore spaghetti, I don't have one of those.
  3. Yes, Welcome! And, yes you really should create a signature so we know what truck you're speaking of when you post! πŸ™‚
  4. The pulley is steel, but the casting is Zamak. It can't possibly rust, it's non-ferrous. None of them came with any finish from the factory.
  5. My Dad uses to say that life is like a toilet paper roll: Closer you come to the center Craft tube, faster it rolls out. It certainly does seem to go quicker the older you get.
  6. I notice a lot of people mention pulling the bed when working with the fuel tanks, is this the only way to get to these or is it just easier to deal with than dropping the tank from below? We are planning to replace our rear tank and try to get it working again soon so trying to get my head around what all we need to do. Sometimes the straps and bolts are really rusty, and the bolts are really long. The ones in the rear have a 15 mm head. You can take them down, but if the tank is full it's a bear, even with two people and a floor jack!
  7. It's not the pain, it's the infection. I run the full course of antibiotics, and a couple of days later it just comes back... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Infectious diseases doesn't know what it is. I know it's not MRSA or any other kind of staph infection. Last time after the IV Vancomycin* they had me on Keflex (cepalhexin) Then they tried Cipro. Now they have me on doxycycline.
  8. Let me see if I can help, will. VVA Variable Vacuum LCV Load Control Valve VDV Vacuum Delay Valve SA-FY ?? But looks like timed vacuum TK Throttle Kicker HICV High pressure cut-off valve I'm unsure of the SA-FY, but if I spend a few minutes contemplating what it's ahead of, I will get it. Hope this helps! πŸ‘
  9. Today Im out of the hospital and hope to be able to get back to my brother's house to work on my truck, if I can stand to kneel underneath. I hope that I am able to get the shims in either side of the carrier without a spreader
  10. Fixed it. Not that I needed to know, but Thanks!
  11. That I had to look up: Tardis Wikipedia TARDIS is a fictional hybrid of a time machine and spacecraft that appears in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who and its various spin-offs. Your link is broken. It's the size of a phone booth but opens to a "dimensionally transcendental" space. More boggling than Narnia.
  12. I’ve always said that’s Gary Baba's treasure cave. His attic must be a Tardis!
  13. We all appreciate your generosity Gary!
  14. Welcome! You're our latest member of the FOG (Flareside Owners Group) We're here to help if we can!
  15. Good catch, Jim. So the 351W nor the IDI was available in those? I didn't know that. Note that I said available in ALL of those... The IDI was never available in 100-150 trucks. The 351 HO is not nearly enough for a F-450 (Superduty) or a 30' motorhome. So what appeared in '83, and stayed carbureted (V-belt) through '89 in Motorhomes and Superduty??? πŸ€”
  16. It's D8AZ-A '83-'89 F-100-350, F-Superduty and F53 stripped chassis. The only engine available in all of those is a 460.
  17. There's no way either of those wires will provide enough current to run a GM ignitor. You should read the tutorial under Bullnose upgrades to learn how to wire a relay and fuse into the system.
  18. The new perspective makes it clear. Sorry, I'm stuck in a bed and can't reach my glasses. He's showing the casting that's bolted to the pump itself, and the pulley is pressed on the other side.
  19. Like anything over 8,500 gvw. Thanks. It's easy to see the three VCV's that came attached to your water neck/thermostat housing.
  20. And yet more! https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2024/05/doj-says-boeing-faces-criminal-charge-for-violating-deal-over-737-max-crashes/ Boeing is a raging dumpster fire! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
  21. Will, can you show us a picture of the vacuum routing diagram on your truck?
