  1. I have one of those. They work fine. I had a 5 HP gas compressor and I felt I was abusing it pulling a vacuum for an hour, and actually cut it to 45 minutes. I got one of these from HF and I am happy with it. Pulls a vacuum just fine for me. https://www.harborfreight.com/merchandising-promotions/hot-buys/25-cfm-vacuum-pump-61245.html

    Great job! Looks good!
  3. I agree, but seeing some of the asking prices lately, not too bad.

  5. I like the look of your truck! Those fender flares look good!
  6. Nice job! That looks good! Good info for future installers.
  7. Since the window is up I would prop up the glass and pull the motor. Then you could lower the glass, open the window and install the new motor. If your able perhaps you could put the new motor in from the inside. But its a bit of a pain to get that motor in. Having said that I haven’t done one that way. I just replaced mine but I was able to use the motor to raise and lower it one last time. I supported the glass when the tailgate was open and the glass all the way out with a saw horse. My Bronco is silver and black with the fiberglass top being black. I do believe it is the hottest vehicle I have ever owned!
  8. I put a Yaesu FT 2980R on one of these in my Bronco. I have the Ford rubber mat in it and used two sided tape to hold it in place on the tranny hump. Didn’t want to screw it in until I was sure that’s what I wanted. Glad I did, sold the radio. But I liked the mount. https://www.wearecb.com/?match=all&subcats=Y&pcode_from_q=Y&pshort=Y&pfull=Y&pname=Y&pkeywords=Y&search_performed=Y&q=Hum1&dispatch=products.search
  9. I questioned posting it. Seemed too good to be true. But scams usually don’t show license plates. Indeed, very nice! Edit, typo

  11. Can you pry them apart and put more nylon pads in there? And hopefully the pads will be tight enough to stay put.

    Indeed! Looks nice!
  13. Too bad about that panel as they are hard to come by, or at least expensive! But, that’s what your truck is for. Looks nice, everything came out good for an adventure! Drove my truck on a 170 mile or so trip today. Very uneventful. I like that.

  15. That’s cool! Bet that training is interesting!
  16. I agree on the radiator. Had a 4Runner do that on me, temps would come up climbing through the mountains. My truck comes up a bit now at highways speeds and climbing. Looking at aluminum radiators.
