  1. There are unions on the lines that someone might have added. Couldn’t get them apart, had to take the lines and unions off together. You can tell someone had vise grips on one line. Edit, the unions are leaking.
  2. Installed a Champion 3 row aluminum radiator, and new hoses. Somebody really reefed on the tranny cooler lines. I did one more tighten after the test drive. If it still leaks I think I’ll put some rubber hose on for a few inches or so. Radiator looks good, fit well. Told the FedEx driver the box really looked good!

  6. It’s funny, I originally bought our Bronco for one of my sons for graduation from high school. Saw the Bronco on craigslist, not realizing it was right across the street. Came home after dark one night and it caught my eye when the headlights hit it. Sure enough, called my neighbor at work the next day, he calls his daughter and I go over and test drive it and buy it. One of the better deals I got on a vehicle in my opinion. My son wanted something with better gas mileage as he was going to college. Found him a car and I’ve had the Bronco ever since. I wouldn’t mind looking into the F350, but I’m thinking I want to go a different route. Actually trying to talk to a guy that has a 98 K1500. He says it has a 4.7 V8 Vortec. Tried to be nice and tell him the engine options through email and haven’t heard back. Only interested in the 5.7. Not the 4.3 or 5.0. I’ll try calling him tomorrow if I can get someone to go over the hill with me.
  7. Well won’t have to go far to look at this one. Saw the neighbor loading yard debris as I was leaving this morning. And realized it’s this truck for sale!
  8. I thought about that one before but a lot of times I am doing things that will get crap all over the car. I was also considering making a tree stump vise stand. Sometimes I don't like a bunch of crap flying all over the garage. That’s a good point on making a mess of a vehicle. I was thinking of holding something, sure enough I’d make a mess in the process!
  9. Nice job! Ive been thinking of getting one of these for a vise. https://smile.amazon.com/Pro-Grade-59105-Hitch-Mount-Plate/dp/B074CQFH5W/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Pro-Grade+59105+Hitch+Mount+Vise+Plate&qid=1626112892&sr=8-2 I don’t have room in my small garage/shop for a vise, but every vehicle I have has a hitch.
  10. I agree on the A/C, the wind noise gets old quick!

  13. Looks good. Nice wheels! Don’t particularly care for lights on the running boards, or the running boards for that matter. I am a C6 fan!
  14. Nice Bronco, too much money IMHO. If it’s not too much money, mine is for sale!

Beautiful scenery! The C6 automatic transmissions aren’t known for good MPG. If I get 10.6 in my truck I’m pretty happy. I actually think the PO put in an aftermarket torque converter. Because I have gotten 11.3 MPG on flat ground running 60-65 MPH. Around 10 MPG in the mountains.
