  1. I agree. If I had the space and not other stuff I don’t get done…
  2. That’s cool! What fun! We were in Disneyland in 2005. Space Mountain was closed for renovation. It was fun. Our kids were 12, 9 and 5.
  3. https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/reno-1986-ford-f150-mechanic-special/7356639349.html Wish there were more pictures. Interior and engine at least.
  4. On the gap, I recently replaced my pickup, I noticed the old one touched. The new one had a small gap. I’m assuming once it starts spinning it makes a gap. Edit: also as Jim said, only one tab is used to hold that part of the pickup in.
  5. This is interesting. Lots of good ideas. I will add along with the bigger tape and bandages, a triangular bandage. Good for holding big pads, can be a sling, or for a tourniquet.
  6. Good news! Good find on the spare truck.
  7. Gary the T18 / T19 / NP435 have a removable bell housing unlike the ZF or M5OD transmissions. So if the input shafts are the same, they are for the T18 & NP435, the T19 could have been swapped in. Dave ---- My Bronco and my truck have 3.55’s. The four trucks I owned before these two were all 4.10’s. I really like the 3.55’s over the 4.10’s. Less rpms and both motors have plenty of torque. Drove the Bronco today on about a 400 mile round trip, with the E4OD at 70 MPH, IIRC, I was turning 2100 rpm. I quit doing second gear starts unless I really had to get going, easier on the clutch IMHO.
  8. Yes. http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/c6.html 7A098 Assuming you have a C6. Edit: I see you have an AOD. That should be in there too.
  9. Interested to see how it goes with the tranny and transfer case. Gauge idea sounds as good as any, long as you don’t hit it with your knuckles shifting the transfer case.
  10. Our Suburban has plastic Y’s for the rear heat. One or two can’t remember. Next time I get down there I need to put in brass or something. With the rear air and heat, hydroboost brakes, power steering, oil cooler and tranny cooler. There’s more lines in there than you can shake a stick at.
  11. Be careful. Those filters on the carb strip easy.
  12. One thing I will add is, if you remove it, it would be great to hang onto it in case someone in say California is trying to register their vehicle and needs parts to pass the state requirements. You could give it or sell it to someone in need.
