  1. Incredibly, my shim set and marking paste "appeared" today, so I have to get the hell outta here so I can go to Vermont next weekend!
  2. The Ford 9" is one of the simplest rear ends to set up... ever!
  3. These are the terms I've always known... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  4. The necrotizing tissue in the joint I've been walking on for 22 years with a chowed meniscus and no labrum to support the mediai joint needs to be removed l It just continues to rot in there, and this mans immune system can only do so much. At least I'm in the right place (2nd largest Hospital in the US, behind Miami).
  5. These are the Pearl's of wisdom I've come to expect of this forum! Thank you, Sir!
  6. I would send you my 3' Horrid Fate pipe wrench, but it would cost you 3x more than buying one new in Dallas. πŸ™ƒ
  7. I'm not sure I reciprocate, at all I'm stretched out here in a hallway well after midnight with another liter of IV saline and Keflex I guess they want to make sure I'm well flushed???
  8. I've decided. THIS is why I want nothing to do with 60% of Americans under 45. I can't go soon enough. *Trim realization, that I edited into above post*
  9. Come to CT. Pull that stuff w/ me and I will split a quart of sulphuric acid drain cleaner between both tanks. Then I will rip out all 4 of your valve stems with a big pair of side cutters. There was a guy in the NMSH a while back, and he had "a smell" in his truck. This isn't a decomp in a trunk , in summer kinda situation, just "a bad smell" This is difficult for me, because I need detail, to function. We talked about things that smell gross, and how it happens Three posts later his response was "remind me NEVER to (make you angry) 😳 Sometimes hard lessons are the best lessons. You'd definitely never forget the ones I suggested to him. 🀣
  10. Dunning-Kreuger Is obviously a thing, but the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. You have some good clues and a direction from Bill
  11. Interesting, the dichotomy between you and me. I don't know if I like you anymore. You would definitely not be driving away from your space, and the engine might never turn again.
  12. Perhaps he can ...... Welcome to the Bullnose Forum! I've made you a member of the forum even though the info you got probably said we'll do that after you post. That's because our joining process isn't working quite right - yet. πŸ₯΄πŸ˜œπŸ™„πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜ πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£ Let us know if the joining process worked correctly you've already been taken there, so please let us know if you have. And let us know overall how the joining process worked for you.
  13. Always be ready for a quick escape! How is it you can park wide open in the nether regions of something the size of Delaware, and when you hike back some (kind person!) πŸ™„ Has parked nose to nose...... and another so close you need a can opener to get in. 3 vehicles in a SEA of asphalt, and they need to mate with you? 😑πŸ’₯
  14. Ben Franklin was wise beyond his years. Today, with the Post Office you can have Informed Delivery You literally get to see a photograph of your package, and are informed as it passes through the Nation. EVERY STINKING POSTCARD. BILLIONS OF ITEMS, EVERY DAY!
  15. I guess until he's done that we are not going to talk about his fuel pump issues Loving it! Without more input from Airtech, what are we to do? The fact that you aren't self subscribed to threads you post, trips new people up too. They don't have any idea there are responses. I can't wait for Nabble to die in a fire! πŸ”₯
  16. Helmholtz resonance, lengths, volumes, wall thickness, orifice size(s). πŸ€” Another easy one to experiment with and have fun. Esoteric and arcane?? Everybody needs a good pipe organ maker after the winter's tin pest comes through! πŸ™„

  18. Frequency was not questioned. Try explaining RMS or inverse square law to someone Their eyes glaze over and they get nothing
  19. Essentially Bernoulli's principal provides a basis for venturi effect. As height decreases, velocity increases and pressure drops, following the limits of thermodynamics..(restrict a pipe and velocity at that point speeds up) It interesting to play with and experiment.
  20. I've got the carrier, but the shims and paste πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ Somewhere near Chicago at a hub
  21. Interesting I thought Puritan's were teatotaler's.
  22. Only Gary could say, but he is entertaining family this week, so his time is limited. I would definitely invite you to request a vendor review poll when you do decide on a brand. We're always here to spread personal experiences
  23. Hence 2-V or 4-V,.. even the venerable 1-V Carter YF (Aluminium) Wait until you catch up with Bernoulli's principal! πŸ‘
  24. Well, technically (simplified) a carburetor is a venturi, where increased velocity results in lower pressure, which sucks fuel out of the bowl. Hell, WAY back in the day it was nothing but a tray of fuel, heated on the bottom and the intake port sucked the fumes off the top.
