  1. I assume you are turning the adjustment screw. Are you seeing any voltage change? And, do you have some load on it? If the screw doesn't make any difference when there's a load on the regulator then you must have a bad one.
  2. Good ideas, Jonathan. After the probably close to 100 vacuum routing diagrams that Bill sent I'll work on this.
  3. The 1973-79 catalog shows: But, for 1982, I'm confused as well.
  4. Trucks are CHEAP out there! Either of those would go for more here, and far more in other parts of the country. I wonder if the winch works on the diesel.
  5. I hope the 83-86 brackets work out, but note that in the 82 illustration it says 2888 or 19D896? But it isn't that easy on 2889, the rear one, as there isn't an entry I can find for '82:
  6. Perhaps that’s why we they needed dual smoke grinders?
  7. https://www.ford-trucks.com/g/album/3129776 That one's already on here: About Me/Contact Me/Trucks I Have Known/1983 Bronco Survivor. But, it is in a really strange, awkward place so I need to create another place. Any suggestions on how to categorize things like that?
  8. Yes, I think so, Gary. I had to search a while for your original post. On the rare parts page, what all should be there? As for the Bronco, I'll bring it over. And, I'm sure there are lots of other things that should come over, so as any of you see things that should be here, please let me know.
  9. If you search for "smoke grinder" you will probably find the new page on this site. That's because in the Search Engine Optimization terms I have "smoke grinder", "A.I.R.", "smog pump", "Thermactor", and then a few part numbers.
  10. Randy - Check your instrument printed circuit as there were 4 different ones: Early 1980, and I don't have the part number in front of me E1TZ-10K843-A .. Printed Circuit Board / Marked: E1TF-10C956-AA 1981/86 F100/350 & Bronco without tach, with Oil/Amp WARNING LAMPS. E1TZ-10K843-B .. Printed Circuit Board / Marked: E1TF-10C956-BA 1981/86 F100/350 & Bronco with tach and with Oil/Amp GAUGES. E1TZ-10K843-C .. Printed Circuit Board / Marked: E1TF-10C956-CA 1981/86 F100/350 & Bronco without tach, with Oil/Amp GAUGES. You haven't put what your truck is in your signature so I can't tell. But, if it is a 1981 or later with gauges then there's a good chance that the printed circuit is the one for a tach. Most of the trucks I've seen with gauges had the right circuit for the tach. If not, then it is possible to hard wire the tach. You can see how the tach is wired on Page 95 in the 1986 EVTM here: http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/fuel-tank-selector--gauges1.html. But if you have idiot lights then there's no place to put the tach. After you check let me know what you find.
  11. Yes, T/E is thermactor, aka smog pump.
  12. Belt sizes are shown here: Engines/Drive Belts.
  13. In my many years long quest to find NOS and rare used pieces for our trucks, I have run across 1 set. Back in 2014, Gary recorded a "survivor" Bronco which had the power mirrors along with many other options: https://www.ford-trucks.com/g/album/945775 I forgot about that, David. Maybe I should put those pics up here?
  14. Bill - Since each of those has the calibration number with it, like 3-97J-R10, I can look up the application as well as the parts list, like below. I could capture all of them.
  15. Bill - Perhaps you could send me the pdf's for our trucks? I could put them up on tabs for each engine. Thanks! And, I can trim them if that's easier for you.
  16. Can we put them on the website w/o problems with Alldata?
  17. Neat find David! But quite expensive. I'd be nervous to have lights on wide mirrors like that. They could take a thrashing if you like to drive around in the woods or the desert like I like to do. I wonder if they fill a legal marker light requirement or if they are just decorative? I read that some states require trailers taller than the cab to have marker lights, but that cab marker lights filled that requirement if the trailer did not have them, hence the reason cab lights were part of the "tow package"on F250's and F350's. Could be hog wash but that's what I read. Big Blue came with the trailering package from the factory but no cab lights.
  18. Welcome. One of the significant advantages to this forum is that requests for documentation by members of this forum will be seen by me and will, as well and as quickly as I can, be honored with said documentation being added to the website.
  19. See if this helps: Emissions/Thermactor Systems.
  20. Yes, and no. I don't have pictures but I do have the illustrations from the master parts catalog and they are pretty good. I'll create a new page with those illustrations for your truck as well as all the others, and I'll be back when I'm done with a link to it.....
  21. Gonna be a lot of work, but I'm anxious to see how you do it. Will it be carb'd or injected?
  22. That's a good way to do it. Hope you made several tabs.
