  1. Glad you got through the move. Things can get dicey without brakes!
  2. That was from last November. Today we finished the "something else" trip I mentioned. It turned out to be going to St. Croix State Park, about 100 miles north of here, for a 4 day weekend. Not much of an adventure, but it was a trip, so here it is. It was a pretty laid-back trip, with only a 100 mile drive each way. We met some friends there and did some hiking and biking. It rained on Saturday (which was nice because it broke the heat and humidity we had Thursday and Friday), so we played games in our friend's travel trailer. And after the rain stopped we played some yard games. This was the trip I thought I needed to get the Bronco running for, but I'm glad we didn't bring it. Walking and biking were better ways to get around for what we wanted to do anyway. Not a lot of pictures from this trip, but here are Lesley and I standing on the bank of the St. Croix River. We're standing in Minnesota, and that's Wisconsin on the other side. Playing yard games in the campground: Then on our way out we drove down this dirt road to climb up a fire tower. This is where not having the Bronco was either unfortunate or very fortunate. It would've been less stressful driving the Bronco on this road. But if we had still chosen to do it on the way out (as we did today), we would've been stuck at the end of this dirt road with no way to turn around. It was a challenge with just the motorhome. It wouldn't have happened with the Bronco in tow. So that was that trip. We do have the Utah trip booked, so that will be the next time we drive the motorhome. And I REALLY need to get the Bronco running for THAT trip! Nice! I like the scenery! Looks like a neat place to visit.
  3. Oh it's not so bad once you get into it. I've spent a lot of time working with cup/cone style bearings in with my work, so that part was straight forward for me. We'll see how it does when it's finally on the road haha, that will be the real test! Good job Cory! I’m with Gary, haven’t done that, looks like fun!
  4. Well done! Hope it stays frosty for awhile.

Nice job! I like the tail pipe insert!
  6. Cool! Redmond was my first time in Central Oregon, did two weeks there when I was in the USAF Reserves. We were with the smoke jumpers in their facility at the airport, and operated our Hueys out of there. It was great! Used to live in Oakridge and Hillsboro. Don’t think you’ll find me in Hillsboro again!
  7. IIRC, there are some 351 cams with the 302 firing order. ETA: Good job figuring that out!
  8. Removing the fenders really helps, you can reach those three bolts easily. I’ve adjusted the door with the fender on with universal sockets, but had to be careful.

  10. Found this. https://www.amazon.com/Hi-Lift-LR-200-Loc-Rac-Mounting-System/dp/B00042K74I ETA: On Hi Lifts website, https://hi-lift.com/product/hi-lift-loc-rac-mounting-system/ ETAA: I forgot you have a tonneau cover.
  11. Boy, was he right! Big Blue is every bit of an F350 w/o the name plate. And the other guy, who shall remain nameless, said something that sounds familiar: Bob - Yes, you are right - both times. I'll have to be incredibly careful about weight distribution or I'll be over the front GAWR shown on the certification label. But with the 95 front axle and SD springs I'm sure my actual front GAWR is about 1000 lbs higher than shown. Dane - Yes, things add up, and in a hurry. Which is why I'm really very pleasantly surprised that the weight isn't higher. But my Hilift is strapped to the top of the spare tire and takes up a lot of room. Just saw this and now I'm wondering if I could do something like that. That Hi Jack mount is cool!
  12. I would question them if they’re upset over a broken part that they shipped in the past. ETA, I’m about 2 1/2 hours south of you.
  13. I have a Harbor Freight hi jack, I got for Christmas years ago. And I carry it in my Weatherguard tool box on my truck. Mainly for me or others getting stuck in snow. This GMC I recently bought had a bed liner, which I tried to like. I don’t like it. It was in the way of my tool box tie downs and a couple of other times in the way. It also had a headache rack which was also in the way. Getting everything figured out, I had the tool box out a few times. And wondered why I was wrestling this jack! It’s surprising how things add up in weight. Of course I’m sure you remember that from your truck camper.
  14. Be nice! Of course, I don’t have my Holley’s anymore.
  15. Nice! Not too bad at all for how you have your truck equipped!
