  1. I did find this. Or you could put the T18 shift knob on it! https://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/transmissions/manual/t18-t19/ Edit: they say the T19 has two PTO’s. And reverse is different between early and later versions of the T18. Plus the casting numbers indicate a T18.
  2. I agree with Gary, if you can drive it, all the better to check things out. 2WD or 4WD? Depends on where you live as far as pricing. Seems high to me. But also as noted, getting harder to find straight, rust free vehicles of this age. My bullnose in my signature was sold several months ago. I was asking $6500. Not a lot of bites in my area. I sold it for $5500 for a couple of reasons. One, I was getting impatient, two, a good young man graduating from high school wanted it, and his grandmother was buying it for him. I should say three reasons, the price of gas was affecting selling it too. IMHO. Ran good, everything worked and I had manuals and a lot of parts to go with it.
  3. Yup, that's the look I got. She looked at your truck in all its glory, looked at the towel rack, and turned up her nose. I wouldn’t mind having them, good place to hang my cane while I try to find my keys!
  4. Looks nice! Bummer about the cracking. Too bad Ford didn’t have one without the speaker grille. I wonder how many in production had a speaker in there.
  5. Periwinkle, I would be careful with Cory's advices about rust products. Cory, I am wondering if you're the one who posted this? That’s hilarious! Glad I’m out of the rusty places!
  6. I remember them. Saw them on VW’s in SoCal. Yeah a bit spendy.
  7. Pixie is great! Like the old Pixie and Dixie cartoon.
  8. Couldn’t hurt to look everything over and install new shocks. And I’ll add that my 92 Bronco rides rough, I have BFG KO2’s on it with newer Monroe gas magnums. It’ll smooth out at speed, but I have overdrive, which I think helps. With the short wheelbase I’ve said that the Broncos are aptly named!
  9. Do you have the cradles yet? How thick are they?
  10. Cool! Looks like fun. I like your camper shell. I’ve been contemplating getting one for my GMC. Your Ranger did good!
  11. Sorry to threadjack, but while you guys are on the topic of coolant temperature sensors...I have a question as I was just studying this myself. I have one of these 1983-1985 Mustang 302 aluminum intakes on my truck, and there are two (well, 3 actually) coolant sender ports. Front left corner of intake, and rear left corner of intake. Would it matter which one I used for an electric fan temperature sender and which one was for a temp gauge sender? The head gaskets are designed to balance the flow so that the coolant doesn't just circulate in the front of the engine, so I assume it doesn't matter which port was used for each one, but wanted to ask the question just in case. I'm not 100% sure what I'm using to control my electric fan yet...I'm just exploring options. I haven’t had that opportunity before, so can’t comment definitively. I was thinking, do you know anyone running one of these manifolds? It would be neat to use an infrared thermometer on all three ports to compare. ETA: Nice manifold!

    Fixing Eddie

Eddie is clean and looks good, but I was referring to the towns and areas you were at. It all looked good!
  13. Looks like that’ll be hard to find. Might try calling Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard and see if they know of something you can use.
