  1. Go check what I just posted in the ebay/craigslist finds....I am searching... A backup is a good idea. My Bronco backs up my truck, my wifes Suburban and my sons Mazda 626, when the snow gets deep, he likes the Bronc in the snow! Hmmm...perhaps another back up is in order.
  2. For $1500 is sure does. Man this stuff just kills me. I'd pay $1500 for that thing in a heartbeat. I wonder if it would make the journey across the continent?...lol. It would be a grand adventure, with stories to tell!
  3. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1985-ford-150/6699660049.html Been up for awhile, I missed it! Looks pretty nice.
  4. Dang...nice! Got to ride with my Dad in a Silver Hawk!
  5. Wow! Thanks Gary! Can't ever have too much info.!
  6. Put one on the truck and one on the wall, then rotate every three months or so! Your engine bay is looking good!
  7. Nice find! Replacing the steering column (or just the ignition housing), and the brake booster are both easy (and inexpensive) tasks. However, the issue of the missing title I dunno...how difficult is that to deal with in the US? But $1500 for what should be a mostly rust free Bronco (if it's been in Oregon forever) is a real steal imho, even if it had no motor. The title! Wow! Usually that's one of the first things I look for, and ask about if I'm going to look. Same or close color and paint scheme as my truck. Guess I got excited! That steering wheel...for some reason changing the steering wheel bugs me, especially if it's not finished. I found in Oregon (same with other states I'm sure) with the title process, it depends on who's helping you. I bought a truck camper from a friend, who bought it from a guy, who bought it from a guy, who bought it from a guy. There was a title, but no transfer. All in the two years the registration was good. Part of the deal was if it was a problem with the DMV, no sale. I go in and tell the gent at DMV the story, he looks at the title, looks at me, almost disgustingly, and then starts typing on the computer. Got the title. Had a 1997 Suburban for parts, lady couldn't find the title. I figured it was part of the mouse nest in the glove box, the rig had been sitting. I was going to take the Burb to the junkyard when I got everything off I wanted, but needed a title. So I go to the DMV to see what I can do. Tell the lady the story, she looks at me and says Oregon is a title state, you have to have a title. I looked at her, almost disgustingly, and left. The old Burb is now a storage shed, the lady took it back after I got everything I wanted off of it. That lady at the DMV (seemed kind of dingy) ended up giving my daughter her driving test for her license. I thought oh boy! She was great, they had a ball, really relaxed my daughter. Anyway, looks like a pretty solid rig, if there's no rust.
  8. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1984-ford-bronco/6700691330.html Might be quite the project! On edit: interesting that there isn't any pictures of the engine.
  9. My first thought was something in the receiver so you can take it out when you want. Then you mentioned what you saw. If that will hinge out of the way that would be great! I have the rear mounted spare tire carrier on my Bronco. Sometimes it's a pain, but worth it. I would lose a lot of room with it inside. My wife's Suburbans spare is mounted inside, I assume they all are. Never really notice it till I'm trying to put something big back there. I like the bumper/air tank idea also. You are a motivated individual!
  10. I looked at the 1986 Trucks and Towing guides. I like them. It took awhile to load, not too long though, it took me a second to realize I had to be on the brochure to scroll. Was neat to see the towing guide! I use Chrome.
  11. He removed it, I grabbed some pictures before he did. I'll try to load them. Success!
