  1. Yup. Still don't want to do it! Ha! Had to do all you're talking about on an 88 F250 Diesel I had. Worked in a lot of tight spaces, but man, some things seem ridiculous.
  2. Oh yeah, My 92 Bronco needs a new window motor and I'm not getting it done because of the access. Works pretty good in the summer!
  3. I'd like a dump bed, just to get to things standing up!

    '86 Bronco

Nice! Thanks for posting, good to know.
  5. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1985-ford-f250-4x4/6658779026.html Looks pretty good.
  6. https://klamath.craigslist.org/cto/d/f350/6658491835.html Hard to beat at $600.
  7. Nice find! Little pricey to me. I'm still hem-hawing over this one you posted. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-86-OEM-FORD-F-150-BRONCO-WOODGRAIN-FACTORY-FRONT-SPEEDO-DASH-TRIM-BEZEL/183234360304?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 Only thing I don't like about mine is that someone glued the indicators (?), 4x4, Emissions, Brake, Turn signals etc. And they did a real sloppy job. You see bubbled remnants of glue. Nobody really sees it but me, but drives me nuts! Might make an offer tomorrow.
  8. Looked through and found your old rims. They are good looking rims on certain applications, not a Bronco, IMO. More like a hot rod, maybe an early seventies Cougar or the like.
  9. Nice! They fit the wheel wells better. I like the rims. If I were looking at those, I probably wouldn't choose them. I'm glad to see them, been thinking of getting some rims for my 92 Bronco. And bigger tires.
  10. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1986-ford-diesel-f250-4x4/6657750980.html Hmmm...another that sounds too good!
  11. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1985-f250-part-out/6656813534.html Almost sounds too good to be true!

  13. "Does anybody still use a CB radio? I powered up 2 of the things I have laying around, I don't hear anything on any channels anywhere." Hardly at all. I just pulled my CB/SSB out of my truck because I just don't ear anybody anymore. I have two nice CB/SSB radios and a 10 meter (I have my HAM license) and rarely talk to anyone. I do better on my base CB/SSB with a better antenna of course. I have talked to guys in Ohio and Tennessee with some good skip. Kind of a CB geek, had one in almost every vehicle I have owned since I was 16. Even have my old FCC license around here somewhere...I think!
  14. I have driven on a 2x6 to give me just a little more. You could also screw two 2x6's on top of each other and cut them at an angle to drive on. We used to do that to change Learjet wheels and tires. Pull one on the 2x6's and the other would be off the ground, dual wheels of course. Then they took it out of the service manuals. Mechanics would crack axles doing it with too much weight on the aircraft, i.e. too much fuel. I've also put my bottle jacks on 2x6's if it would fit.
  15. I just saw that, pretty quick. I saw it last night, remembered to post this morning and poof!
  16. Only one picture. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1986-ford-f150/6655436019.html
  17. I agree also, I don't get on Facebook much anymore, definitely not for help or research on vehicles. I would think that it would be a good place to find forums like this, however I search for forums and not on Facebook.
  18. Yup! I'd love a manual, but my joints don't do well with clutches anymore, left hip replaced already. The C6 is a tough auto IMO, just not good on gas mileage, then again what should I expect?
  19. Man, I gotta come to the GTG next year, I'd love to get 11-12! I'm lucky if I get 10. Need a real good test though with the new Holley on there.
  20. When I first got my truck the emissions were a mess. I found the vent line hanging there covered in dirt!
  21. Sounds like you are all over it. Frustrating! I don't remember all that you did, but have you checked the fuel tank vent? I don't know if your truck is a vented cap or a vent line. Maybe drive it with the cap loose.
  22. I found the Garagemahal researching (google) VIN, axle, engine, etc. codes. I then found FTE. And now come here.
