  1. Thanks and back at you! Plenty to be thankful for!
  2. “(Any ideas on how to insulate that terminal?)” Disclaimer: that’s not me!
  3. Interesting, but one thing I like about my truck is that there’s not a computer on it.

Nice work Bill! I agree doing things by feel when driving is nice. Don’t have a touch screen yet.
  7. Nice Bronco I think. I’m surprised they don’t mention the engine size, that I saw, but the VIN says its the 351W. Nor any pictures of the engine.
  8. Different car and engine, but something I found interesting. I did the head gaskets on the 2000 Xterra we now own. Got the factory service manual, and Nissan said to pull the exhaust manifolds with the heads, never did that before. It worked, and since a hoist was mentioned, I thought I would mention it. I didn’t use a hoist, but would have if I had one, definitely would with a heavy 8 cylinder head.
  9. That’s great! Congrats to the newlyweds!
  10. Very cool! Nice wheels! Prayers for the surgery!
  11. Yes I meant in steel. Aluminum in the aircraft and as you made me think (ouch), the rivnuts were aluminum also.
  12. I’m not a rivnut fan, they’re handy for sure. Cessna used them on some aircraft and the old 340’s had them on the wing root. They would work loose eventually and if you were lucky you could get some dikes under the screw and put on enough pressure to get the screw out. We would replace them and do it again the next year or when we had to pull them. Not trying to discourage you, just a heads up and they may work better in metal, I’ve not used them that I can remember in metal.
  13. Tough choice. First thought was bolt through. Then thought, I wouldn’t want to pull the cab bolts if I had to or wanted to remove it.I think holes for the cab bolts.
  14. That sounds good, and as Gary and you did I won’t flush it. This morning it went right into gear. Interestingly this morning it went right into gear, then I let the truck warm up for a bit, then it did not go into gear right away.
  15. Looks good! I would check for spark to be sure on the ignition system.
  16. In good shape, I definitely don’t like the stripes. I’m not a big red fan either, just a bit too much red for me. Nice that it is preserved.
  17. Ah, my bad, didn’t read thoroughly. I like what Scott suggested, I wouldn’t mind it hanging down except to hide it from the more dishonest crowd. The hooks should be good.
