  2. The only other thing that pops into my mind is that it’s getting air in the system somewhere. Like the fuel filter. Or the IP, even though it’s rebuilt.
  3. Good idea. I remember now having a dimmer switch go bad and the lights would flicker or go off, I’d kick it with my foot till I got it replaced.
  4. I’m amazed at my 86. It is strong! The truck just seems stronger and better than my 94 F250 with the 460. I had 210 gallons of milk in the bed a couple of weeks ago and was towing a 6x12 trailer with three pallets of food. Didn’t care. Last Thursday I unhooked so they could forklift the milk pallet in. At least 150 gallons of milk on the pallet. I stood back and watched, the truck squatted maybe an inch. But, oh my, as you know, it drinks the gas!
  5. I sure liked my 390 in my 74 F250. Used the old joke it’ll pass anything but a gas station! Then I met a 460!
  6. I have had headlight switches go bad, but they didn’t flicker. Dead off until they cooled, on, then off again.
  7. My 92 Bronco had a cold start problem when I bought it. Ended up being the coil. The ohms on the secondary side I believe, were out of range, and not by much, but the new coil did the trick.
  8. I agree with Gary, sometimes you don’t walk away when you should. Honestly, I should have walked away from my 86. It was a lot of work to get it were it’s at. I told my wife that I couldn’t believe I made it home when I traded for it. A 5 hour drive with ice and snow on the passes! But I now think it’s the best ford truck I’ve owned, with the 1974 super cab I used to own, second.
  9. Great! I use this type of method to adjust my headlights. https://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/a257/how-to-adjust-lights/
  10. Yes, a lot of money! Must have been sleepy, put this in the wrong place!

  12. Thanks Jim! This old rust bucket has been keeping me plenty busy. I bought the big 10lb? roll of Mig wire a few years ago thinking it would last me a lifetime...lol. With this truck, I don't know about that...lol. Still, I'm having some fun with it. I was in the mood to build and fabricate...well, I'm getting my fill with this thing. Great job!
  13. The center console has the “aerated feature”! It’s a pretty cool Bronco! Edit: If it has been in the Bend Oregon area, not a lot of rain. High desert atmosphere. More sun than rain. The rain is west of the Cascade mountains.

Interesting. My Bronco has a 02/92 build date. And I’m pretty sure it has the rod. Had to replace the cable on my 94 F250 and wondered what I had in the Bronco.
