  1. Gary, this new clown skyfei9 needs to go back into whatever hole it crawled out of. All he is doing is trying to sell overpriced tennis shoes.
  2. Steve, here are some pictures for you, I could not find a male/female two pin set for the 0.110" pins. I did find a 4 pin pair for those that would work nicely and I would simply use all 4 0.110" pins. A little redundancy is always a good idea, ask NASA. Two pin female connector, probably fits ACT, ECT, or similar.
  3. Steve, I don't know about scream, 9.3:1 compression, mild cam .030 over for 466.3 ci, but, Darth weighs 6400 lbs empty and has a 3.55 gear with 215/85R-16 tires. 55 mph in OD (E4OD trans) is 1500 rpm. I will not put headers on (ask Gary about headers + 460), but since Darth is a 1986 > 8500 GVWR truck, non-catalyst.
  4. Or that the EGR spacer is burned through. Very common on the old aluminum ones Ford used in those years, bad enough I kept a couple of the cast iron service replacements in my shop.
  5. Gary. from what I remember the 351M/400 carbs are lean as hell from the factory. I would get a set of carburetor mount and EGR plate gaskets, I will hazard a guess it may well be there.
  6. Thanks, it looks better with the nicer chrome painted valve covers since no one makes nice aftermarket ones for EFI 460s. Yes, I will, but figured no rush on it.
  7. Definitely nice looking! Here is what will be going in Darth later:
  8. Brandon, the one for the 460 pickup tube is a "prevailing torque" style so it can't loosen and come off, and I believe it has a flange on it.
  9. Ok, one item I see, the C2 serpentine pulley I have is plastic with a metal hub, the Sag one is all metal. Next week I will try to get all the Sag stuff (Chrysler included) and get measurements ans pictures.
  10. Ok, that one looks like one of the nice pull-apart connectors Ford was slowly phasing out in the late 80s. The ones I have (I won't be able to get you a picture till tomorrow) are the newer style that was coming into use as those were being phased out. These had a male and female half and the back (wire end) has a rubber seal the wires pass through and the male pins are in a recessed housing with an O-ring seal where the female sockets are. Here is what the pins look like: Female .110
  11. Steve, I'm not sure if Gary's got that, I do, should have both halves once I see the pictures.
  12. Probably, when you get to that point let me know.
  13. I don't have any pictures of the weatherproof two pin connectors for the 0.110" pin and socket, but I believe that's what he needs.
  14. Saw this at Pete's Used Parts in Newport News Thursday when I was picking up some Chrysler parts.
  15. Steve, if you have a good picture, I have a good size collection of Ford connectors. You are both right and wrong in your assessment, the wire does go to the EEC harness, but it is used for grounding the entire EFI system, not the other way around. Yes, a bad ground and it will either not run at all or poorly. My son simply splices enough on the end of the EFI harness he could use a 5/16" lug and and extra nut on the negative battery cable.
  16. It's funny, they object to older Fords, then want to rent you a God's Mechanical Curse.
  17. Ok, I do have some spreadsheets I made when doing mine to track the wiring changes for the engine/transmission.
  18. I do, but nothing shows about it. Do you need me to start scanning mine?
  19. Probably since I am an admin on that site, I will ask the fellow who started it, but I do not think it will be an issue. We had a long back and forth the other night on FB regarding some of the issues and method of approving applicants. I have sent friend requests to the 3 admins on the Bullnose group and when one or more responds I will ask and relay it to you. Maybe even get a link to your site in the group.
  20. Gary, use the fast idle cam on the Carterbrock, I use to do on Darth with the Holley 4180, works good and will cancel as soon as you tap the gas. I need to find out what the PTO terminal on the 460 EEC-V does, whether you ground it or apply 12V to it as I'll bet it raises the idle speed.
  21. Looks good to me. I will check which of the emission testing and diagnosis manuals I have. These are huge. I also have AllData Pro which is decent for 1982 - 1983 and pretty good for 1984 - 1986.
  22. This is what happens to a good site when it becomes a commercial product and advertising revenue becomes the most important concern. They bought a number of automotive sites and have turned them all into revenue sources. This is why we are seeing more and more rival sites trying to get started. I am admin for two Ford groups on FB, one is Ford Dually Trucks and the other you know about. There is also a Bullnose group, if you are not a member, I can ask one of the admins if it would be acceptable to advertise your meet.
  23. Well, in my opinion FTE went to be run by some gal named Helen, Helen A. Handbasket after Internet Brands bought them. I tried editing my signature and it kept telling me I had too many lines, so I just left it alone. I hardly ever go on there now, all the important people are on here.
  24. Pre-delivery is one then there is Chassis, Electrical and engine, In addition to the EVTM there is a huge foldout set of complete wiring diagrams complete with connector PNs.
  25. I have, once I locate it all, the full set of 1986 manuals along with the owner's manual for Darth as built. I also have a number of the emission diagnostic manuals.
