  1. Thank you. I missed this because my reply took me to the next page.... 🙃
  2. That's an 'interesting approach ' Larry! :nabble_smiley_good: Make do. Reduce, reuse...
  3. Gary will point you to the FAQ's and "how to post a picture" Basically, the forum framework is antique and can't read the metadata. You need to rotate the image on your device and 'save as' then copy THAT image to the forum. Even if it appears correct. Rotate, rotate back, then save, then post..... It's a PITA and I will NOT be bothered anymore. Jim "does not play nice with others" 😆
  4. Must be a southern truck thing?? Depending on the DSO??? I honestly have never seen that up here in the NE. But I did hear Bill mention that these were not such a problem.
  5. FRPP for a damned oil filter is a hard NO for me! $43 retail and 28 at Walmart??? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ford-Performance-Parts-CM-6731-FL1A-High-Performance-Oil-Filter/181993123?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0 "Please put down the crack pipe, sir"
  6. Nothing new See the Mini Mopar reviews from decades ago. Kinser??? It's been a LONG time, but my autistic mind is full of arcane minutae Edit: Yup! I'm a freak! 😄 http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilters/index.html
  7. I've never seen an 86 oil cooler (factory) The aeronose trucks had an oddball oil to water right angle block adapter that would hemorrhage internally with (obvious) disastrous results.
  8. How big a list is it? Maybe you can do like I do, and just screenshot it Though Gary is very conscious of posting anything on this forum that might be another person's intellectual property
  9. I don't know the mysteries of all these forum back ends, obviously.... 😉
  10. The '90s oil coolers? I'll let Bill rant about those damn things! I think he calls them " the hand grenade"
  11. https://www.ford-trucks.com/articles/avoid-counterfeit-motorcraft-parts-with-this-helpful-guide/ https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/watch-for-counterfeit-motorcraft-parts-on-amazon.4515/
  12. Here is the eWissions diagram from this site. 😉. 😄 You can see 9d436 at the back, and the NPT to reverse flare adapters 390148s36 in the exhaust manifolds. ETA: 9c438 is a crush seal... HTH....
  13. I forgot what I used to use.... Hayden???? Id get them from my buddy Rick Piper at Portchester Auto Radiator and AC, his family business. Now the only see is Four Seasons (and what I have today) I thought Visteon was doing them, but they were rolled into some "investment group"'s M&A and like everything else (Holley, Prestolite, etc) turned to
  14. Yup I bought the last of the Motorcraft from Walmart around here. Wix/NAPA now. Motorcraft forgeries have been a thing for quite a few years. I've had a discussion with Gary about this, here on the forum before. Maybe Myrl has some insight from the dealers parts counter?
  15. Cool! Easy peasy. I know very little about '70 Broncos other than mint ones are worth a fortune. 💸
  16. Doh! I should have said senders Stock, they all come up to the dash ground by the radio
  17. If I recall, they're pretty much all calibrated at 105° f Ford didn't care what temp it was as long as it was above ambient and could maintain a steady temperature in the carburetor That way the mix would remain the same and they could meet Federal standards
  18. It's a Ford. They ALL act stupid. 😂
  19. That stuff is available. I looked up similar just last week. The Mustang fanatics have a ready supply, if pricy. Go by the Motorcraft numbers
  20. Edit: this is a reply to Davids hotlink of eBay, that never appeared, because it is blocked. 😆 Right.. It won't show up at all! I'm done, I've got nothing more to say (and I AM unsubbed, because, just because)
  21. You just directed another computer to hit an asset on their site Head that "stuff" off at the pass. Don't even begin to allow it!
  22. Because, when you hot link, even if it's just for another piece of forum software to make a screen grab, you are trying up resources on their server. Pings and more pings.... That's how DDOS attacks happen. Am I not being clear? 🤷‍♂ī¸
  23. Right! That's why I said they are protected from hotlinking Am I phrasing it wrong?
