  1. Nice! I recall a very pretty kinda Aqua blue metallic....
  2. Maybe Dave G can explain it to you. He drives Propane all over the center of the state. ???? Or you could click the link. I'm pretty sure they have a 'directions' tab.
  3. Yeah, that's a tough one. With the door raised at all, you can't really get at the header over the door. Commercial units usually have a chain fall at one end, in case power is lost. Now we have to deal with every unit having battery backup to save us, in case of a power outage! .
  4. The 450 had a very nice Y-pipe, but it used EFI exhaust manifolds, and they put the cone joints in a different place (or* my truck would be wearing it)
  5. Auveco 18339 Also https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/searchresults.asp?Search=n623344-s&Submit=
  6. I'm not sure where you are Matt, because the map has you in Nashville. But this salvage near my brother's farm in Siler City is a good one. 👍
  7. It is a small orifice. It damps pulses even if you think it has no effect, it does or they wouldn't have bothered.
  8. I'll find it! Just give me time to get breakfast on the table. Progress is Good!
  9. I had a 64 Dart with a slant 6 & 3-on-the-tree for a while in HS. I know all about road draft.. There was practically no detergent package in oils back when it was built.
  10. Good morning from CT Cory! We're talking about a frame and TC here, so no small job! Even by the case, brake clean is $. I just went through 4 cans.....on a chainsaw! 🤯
  11. Yep, been sitting on there for two years now. Price is less than what a junkyard charges for an axle. Nobody wants a semi-float. Can't blame them, I don't either. haha. My diff did NOT look like this! 🤯 🤣 This channel is always good for a chuckle (even a hearty laugh, sometimes) Scary though. Remember, we share the roads with these idiots. 😠 ***Don't be this guy. Check your axle vent periodically, and change gear lube a couple of times each decade. ***
  12. If you've been on FB then you should know that they have closed groups, by invitation only. 💡 If we want a back channel on this stupid forum software we're going to have to set up something outside of this software... It's almost like an alternative is sitting right in front of us... 🙄
  13. We also have a suggestion for Carlisle or Harrisburg PA.
  14. Go up to 'forum & website discussions' suggest a Discord channel.
  15. Mat, If you're already gonna have to replace one head and have an iron 4V intake, do both, and get the D3. A2A's instead. Junkyard heads are not expensive.... still. Magnaflux them and clean up the valves. You will be saving a ton of time and frustration trying to get the reversion worked out to where that thing will run right with EFI heads. 16. We should have a BBS or chatroom just for geeks. My sister and I are looking at doing a podcast of all the outrageous things we've been through as autodidactic freaks and trauma survivors.
  17. Ohhhh Reallllllly! 🤯 My father was director of engineering at Perkin-Elmer when they were grinding lenses for certain 'satellites' and started a company 'Cast Optics' because the lenses were too heavy to loft back in the early '60's. He was also into optics as a hobby, stemming from his interests in photography as a kid. He hung out with Edmund Land. He developed the technique to cast thick acrylic sections without boiling or needing to be annealed. I can smell hydroquinone a mile off! 😂 When I was born he was working at a government contractor 'Barnes Engineering' grinding beryllium mirrors for the first infrared detecting 'early warning' satellites at the peak of the cold war. Should I continue to regale you with stories from my childhood? 🤔
  18. Man, I wish you would have elaborated on "engineer" a long time ago.... You speak the language of my people!
  19. Can you tell riddles, puzzles and enigmas or another one of my "special interests" I should have been come a cryptographer for CIA.
