Vinny mentioned to check the trailer wiring. I second that. When I got my truck I needed to replace the turn signal switch, one of the tabs that hold the turn signal on was broke. Afterwards, IIRC, I was also blowing the fuse for the brake lights and my tail lights were intermittent and the license plate lights were not working. The trailer wiring had been spliced into and wired incorrectly. Ended up getting it all out where I could see it and got the EVTM out and straightened it up, been fine since. Hope you get this soon, these kind of problems can drive you nuts.

Everything seems understandable to me. My rear axle code is 39, which is listed as 3.55. Would I use 3.54 in the rear axle ratio? I've seen this elsewhere if I remember correctly, meaning 3.54 instead of 3.55.

That's not a PMGR starter is it? I think I'm really getting confused! What PMGR starter would I use on my 1986 460? Or am I way off course on this, thinking you install a PMGR starter?

I don't know which starter part number to use on a 460. You're not misunderstood I am. Actually I was thinking weird there! So a starter from a 92 460?

Hello, thank you. I was deciding what I wanted to do and realized it's mounted in the front of the bed. I have a tool box there, so I was thinking of mounting a tire in the back. Sorry, it won't work for me. Anybody else? Again, thank you!
