These are from the 1986 FSM. All in Ft-Lb Flywheel- 75-85 Bell Housing- 40-50 Slave Cylinder- says it’s held in with a C-Clip Clutch, Pressure Plate- 20-29 Transmission- 35-50 Cross Member- 43-57 Driveshaft U-Bolts- Single type- 5/16-18- 8-15 3/8-18- 17-26 7/16-20- 30-40 Tranny to Transfer Case both the BW 1345 and NP 208- 25-43, 1st bolt to tighten is at @ 11:00 looking back at the Transfer Case, then do a cross pattern tightening sequence.

I can’t speak on seizing up. But as Nothing Special said light grease. The FSM also mentions an Automatic Hub Lock Grease for the brake band and drag sleeve. E1TZ-19590-A. I would imagine lightly coating everything with that should be good.

I agree. Some folks don’t like the Auto Hubs, I’ve been told “they’re not going to work when it’s cold.” If you put too much grease in there they will be troublesome. The FSM for my Bronco says to soak them in ATF and let them drip. I did that and have had no problems.

Nice! Horn pad looks different. I’m not fond of the tops being off. I had a 1987 4Runner that the PO took the top off to hunt. Whenever I got into someplace I hadn’t been, took twice as long to clean it up!

Looks good! I got lucky, my horn pad is only a little worn below the cruise buttons. Hard to find good ones, especially ones you don’t need to get a loan for!
