  1. Maybe it's a typo, they forgot the forward slash.
  2. I think it explains the folders fine. The Picture Gallery is a great place to show your Bullnose. I didn't realize you could lock the Projects folder items. I think that's great how you explained it, and you can let people post if you want.
  3. I'm assuming Dashpot is the throttle device. Used on manual tranny vehicles.
  4. A search found Intake Manifold Runner Control. https://www.motor.com/magazine-summary/trouble-shooter-july-2009/
  5. Or, keep the electric pumps working and go by mileage for fuel level, which I have done for every pre 1992 Ford I have owned. And install one of these, https://www.amazon.com/Smittybilt-2798-Jerry-Gas-Holder/dp/B008CLNYPC And maybe add the 38 gallon tank and one of these in bed spare tire carriers, http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/full.aspx?Page=27 Or, park it, and look out the window and say, dang that's a nice looking truck!
  6. And looking further at LMC, they show one for the 85-86 7.5. I don't remember why I didn't think it would work. For $70 I may order one to have. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/full.aspx?Page=42 Maybe someday I'll have to put an engine mounted pump on it, if it will work. I assume it has a cam in there.
  7. Yes, new pump, old sending unit. New 19 gallon stock tank. And my mistake, I thought the 38 gallon tank came with a new sending unit, but it comes with an extension for the one you have or a new one.
  8. Cruising down a smooth highway is nice with the long wheelbase. Like you said the potholes and bumps will get you.
  9. I'm following with interest. These HD's ride rough! My 1994 F250 had the extra spring installed up front, wow!
  10. Another reason to go with the 38 gallon tank is that there are no sender units available for the rear steel tanks that have the four pins on my 1986 F250 with the 460. I had a shop change my rear pump, they called and said they were getting a new sending unit and pump because mine was rusted in. I said that there aren't any, and of course they said we'll find one. They didn't. Ended up with a new tank and pump and they got the old sender out.
  11. You could skip the D60 swap and invest in these for a lot less!
  12. My gauge will run at midway of normal and over to the L. A week or so ago it seemed to go farther than I'm used to. I got home and used my thermometer gun on it and it was at 195 or so just like it always is (at the Thermostat Housing). I'm thinking of putting an aftermarket gauge on it. The only thing that doesn't sound good is the poor performance. The temp will climb when you shut off the engine. I've only owned one vehicle that it was said needed "burping" or getting the air out, 1987 Toyota 4Runner with a 22RE. I did it, made a mess and then serviced it as I always did. Put an aftermarket gauge on the 4Runner and ended up replacing the radiator. If the radiator has been in there since the 90's I would suspicious of it too. Especially if the coolant system wasn't maintained. I don't know for sure what the recommended thermostat is, but 195 sounds right.
