  1. Welcome! I would have considered the goat! Could help me mow the grass!
  2. We've gotten a little better since then. Gary, wanted to follow up on the temp gauge I installed with the adapter for both the gauge and stock sender. Got a quick chance today to hit it with the thermometer gun. Stock gauge was at the “L” in NORMAL. Equus gauge read 190° and the thermostat neck was 192° midway and up to the hose. The base of the neck was 200-203°. I plan to do some more research when time permits. Seems close so far!
  3. Ok, delco 1946 has first dibs. And a burger sounds good!
  4. Sometimes. These do go to the back wheels. I have family in the area. I’ll look this up if I come up.
  5. Put a water temp gauge in my truck. Wanted to keep the stock sender, so I bought an adapter from McMaster-Carr. Went pretty good, for an ol’ cripple! Let’s see if the pictures will work!
  6. I used small screws and nuts on my F250 and Bronco. Thought it would be easier to get them out.
  7. These are mine, thought I’d put them here. Not interested in shipping them. Thanks, https://klamath.craigslist.org/pts/d/klamath-falls-dee-zee-running-boards-92/6901107654.html
  8. I seem to remember some time ago that people were having trouble with the LEDs in turn signals. Do the bulbs that go in the sockets work ok with everything?
  9. Wowsa! Must be hard to find to ask that much. But, could be well worth it. Good find!
  10. I don’t get that. I was looking at a vehicle on craigslist and it had no title. But a long description of what you could do (and how much $), to get the title in California and then Oregon. Why don’t people take care of this? A bit of a pet peeve to me. I agree, I just move along. Some states do not give titles on older cars /trucks they go by BOS (bill of sale). Yes I could go get one but to spend hours in the DMV for something that may only be sold within that state why would I? My 75 AMC Gremlin dose not have a title and at the time if I wanted one had to put up a $500 bond. If I want to sell it would be posted that way "no title" as there is no way I am going back to CT from NC to get one. Dave ---- Interesting, I don’t ever remember not having a title for a vehicle. Didn’t know that. I should say around here. I’ve seen listings where people say I’ll give you a bill of sale and the DMV will give you a title. Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what their computer tells them. It can be hit or miss.
  11. AA (Automobile Accumulators) meeting... Hi, my name is Ray and I have a problem... Hi Ray!
  12. Do you mean the entire fuse block? And, the wires should come in from the back, not the front. Can you post a pic of what you have? If it is as burned as I think you are saying you may have to replace the fuse block itself. I don't know how easy that is to do, but maybe someone else does. Welcome!
