  1. Speaking of cars... Bullitt! https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/articles/2018/01/14/mustang-bullitt-found-real-mcqueen?utm_source=SFMC&utm_medium=email&utm_content=19_November_30_Weekend_News# Edit: Cool that Marti was involved!
  2. Isn't it, though? And check out the interior: The coolest thing about that dashboard is that what you see as the speedometer is actually a mirror, which reflects the image of the actual speedometer laying horizontally below your line of sight. The idea is that the angle of the mirror could be adjusted for the height of the driver, giving a perfect viewing angle. So if you ever find an old Buick speedometer with all the numbers reversed, you now know why. That is cool!
  3. Dad was a Buick man, huh? Did he ever have one of these? I've just about settled on a '60 Invicta like the above as my next car...if I can find one in the right condition for the right price. Now that’s a car! Wowza!
  4. That big inverter could come in handy, run a coffee maker, espresso machine, maybe a George Foreman grill! Charge your devices, endless possibilities...
  5. Welcome aboard Frogger! Gorgeous truck! I love Flaresides....I have the same truck in blue...also a 1984. Can't wait to hear more about it. If we can help with the wiring, just shout. Welcome!
  6. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/grants-pass-1984-ford-f250-lariat-xlt/7029690652.html Needs work!
  7. I have not will not use them as I don't like the look or the out put. Also are they DOT legal? I did not read that far to see if they are. All you have to do is get 1 officer to pull over or a state inspection each year to pull them or get a fine. Dave ---- Oops! Good eye Dave!
  8. Sure it’s two? Says quantity of one. Unless I missed something. Don’t use them or know anyone who does.
  9. Man, the paint and exterior look good, but the interior and engine compartment are a bit ragged. I’m lucky there, mine is the opposite. One little hole in the drivers seat, but no cracks in the dash. Engine compartment looks nice on mine. I have about 188,000 miles on it. Yes that appears to be a MAF sensor. My 1992 FSM says it is SEFI.
  10. Yup, all those things. As shown below, and those illustrations will adorn the page as well as the part numbers. Impressive! I’d like to have one! If found I’m sure I wouldn’t pay as much as I think they would cost. Tried to get a factory one for my Kawasaki Voyager, way too much for me!
  11. I was told by an old timer once how to adjust rear drums and it works well. Shoes in enough to get the drum on, install the wheel. Tighten the shoes until you can’t roll the wheel anymore. Loosen the shoes while counting how many clicks or how many times you move the adjuster, until the shoes don’t rub anymore. Tighten the other side till it won’t move then take the adjuster out the same amount. IIRC it’s about 20-30 clicks.
  12. If you go here (Documentation/Electrical/EVTM/1981 EVTM/Lights), which is where the illustrations below come from, you'll see that the left headlight grounds on G801 and the right on G802. And that those grounds are on the inner fenders behind the headlights. Those grounds would be the first things I'd check. Have you checked or replaced the dimmer switch? I’ve had those kill the brights, driving down the road tapping it to get it to work.
  13. I would probably go with the heavy duty. Especially with that gruntin’ 460!
  14. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/medford-ford-bronco/7026477206.html Rough, I think a little high on the price. But people have been asking a lot for Broncos around here lately. Edit: just saw it has the AOD.
  15. Don't forget, this is a 1990. The bushing is original, and in what seems to be good shape. However, I have four total striker bolts with a guard, which means my old 86 parts cab had them too. And I'm willing to bet they were original as the paint was marked in the shape of the guard. My 86 didn’t have the guards, but could have been replaced, many times!
  16. Welcome! Mack trucks are cool!
  17. I forgot to mention, I found an EGR block plate on ebay I think. It was listed for a 351W, but had the dimensions so I ordered it and it worked. Different engine and carb and all, but thought I’d say something.
  18. They put in Tesla charging stations at a Fred Meyer store here, I scoffed, who has one around here! Next time I was in the area there was a Tesla charging. But, that’s the only one I’ve seen around these parts!
