  1. It's keeping you occupied. How's your back?
  2. I ran mine in tygon fuel line for a small 2stroke (like a weedwacker or chainsaw Since I don't have any charcoal canister I followed the fill hose and used a transmission vent from a Lexus. It just hangs up behind the filler cubby.
  3. I would have cut the flange back the first time... I've got a U-Haul hitch. Don't know who makes them for them....
  4. If the 250mi range doesn't bother you, go for it!
  5. AVS is not AFB.... Gary is a fan and knows both of them in & out.
  6. Rollover valves existed before that Bronco was built, but evaporative emissions are a lot easier to deal with if they're all under the gas cap.
  7. Nothing, IMHO, except perhaps a bit of top.
  8. Right. Jim - I scanned the Power Window section and put it on a new page at Documentation/Electrical/EVTMs/1996 EVTM/1996 Power Windows. Do you need me to give you a screenshot of it? Thank you for taking the time to do that. I'll just send Mike à link to the page.
  9. No rush, at all. The YouTube guy wants to put '9X power window doors on his '87 cab. I know that it's fuse 14 for both, but I can't send him the 96 power window schematic to compare, if it isn't on the site. Thanks, and I hope your facia comes out well!
  10. I found a welder that's not sky high in pricing so I'm going with patch panels in the rear. I can't make up my mind if I want patch panels in the front or new fenders. I'm thinkin' replacing the fenders may be a big hassle with 39 yo hardware. Have the welder put a few big holes in the top of each wheel well arch support so you can flush out the mud and water can drain/dry out. The biggest hassle with front fenders are getting them lined up with the door, cowl and hood all at once. My truck has Gordon brand fenders and it was tough making everything fit (but I'm no bodyman, as you can tell! 🤣🤣🤣)
  11. Gary, Can you post pg 100 of the 1996 EVTM (Power windows)?
  12. Depending on the transfer case, they are cheap and easy to rebuild. (see my Vermont saga a few years back) If it won't stay in gear then I would concour with Gary. It's the plastic shift forks..
  13. If you're going to strip all the fiberglass off I'd use Kleen-Strip concrete and metal prep $18 G @ the orange box. (Same or better than Ospho, IMHO. But if you plan on metal wheel arch patches down the line, don't think twice about covering it with more fiberglass.
  14. Just because you "can" doesn't mean you should.... Watch "Just Rolled In" on YouTube and realize the dangerous you're sharing the roads with! Your wife, kids, parents are out there with these crackheads rolling in their :nabble_poo-23_orig:boxes, waiting for a gas tank to fall off in an accident and immolate everyone involved. I have to tow these wrecks (every day!) Jagged metal on a vehicle will slice you in half at 30... Laugh all you want. You're the problem not the solution.
  15. If the PO started the fiber glass repair, why didn't he finish it? The truck has been in PA. since it was new. My neighbor thinks PA. has laws about rust. One of the POs may have just covered over the rust to pass state inspection which makes sense because the fiberglass has high and low spots like it was just slapped on. I appreciate the info on the flap discs. It's supposed the get cold for a few days, then I'll attack it. I'll have an "everything must go" job. I don't like doin; things twice so I may wait 'til after taxes and do the replacement panels. uess I have too much time on my hands. At least some parts of PA requires an annual safety inspection. You can't have any jagged holes in Delco, for sure.
  16. '87 was a transition year for a lot of things.
  17. Just 'cause you're not paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!!!

  19. Where's "town" (sorry I don't remember every member's data) Damn, that's a great deal! What kind of hides? Veg tan? Oil? Chrome? Weights??? I worked mostly with harness leather, so a lot of 8-10 oz horsehide, but that russet bag you see with a bunch of other tools in it is 5-6 garment leather. And you can see the shoe anvil and farriers hammer so obviously I'm a bit of a cobbler too...
  20. Funny! I did have to create a stronger password, but I certainly didn't have any Captcha. I would have noped right out if I saw that.
  21. Gary said above, it's best to recreate your existing credentials Username password etc..
  22. This is very promising news! You and Chris have been putting a lot of work into this, and I want to express my appreciation for all the effort. I'll try the link....
  23. May, or may not be meth..but that harness closely resembles their neural ganglia.
