  1. That's a neat kit seeing how it comes with all the different bezels/controls for the bronco, single tank, rear tank, and cubby hole (what my 1980 has).
  2. I get pleasure from finding NOS or recently mentioned pieces for which a fellow member is searching. I wonder how much this "service" has helped the seekers as well as sellers? I for one am glad you do. I've bought a couple of items from your finds so please keep them coming :)
  3. That's a decent price. I bought mine from Terrapin, and it's more expensive. I didn't know about the Bronco Graveyard piece at the time. http://www.terrapinmfg.com/firewall%20fix.htm My truck had the small brace installed previously. Funny, I was actually trying to remember the name 'Terrapin' so was googling it and the Bronco GY listing showed up. I never knew they had it there either. Did the small one not work? Or was it added too late? Or did you just want to get the big one while it was still available (this is my logic on a lot of stuff for these trucks)?
  4. No sir, but I've saved it for future viewing. I'm still waiting to see how much it's going to cost to paint the rest of the truck before I commit to luxurious options like sliding rear windows...lol. That's a good find! Personally I think the aluminum frame sliders like that look the best. Update: Looks like it didn't last long :)
  5. Speaking of those reinforcements, I've seen a few of the small ones in the JY so worth a look there first but you can get the big one from Bronco GY: https://shop.broncograveyard.com/83-91-Ford-Bronco-Ford-Truck-Firewall-Clutch-Repair-Bracket/productinfo/34010/
  6. Good photos! Looks like dealer a/c although most of those I thought either replaced the center control with an a/c unit or they had an insert with two dials that went in the cubby to the right of the steering wheel. Others will know more though. Edit: nevermind, somehow I completely missed that the center control is a dealer A/C unit I'd take a good look at the firewall near the wiper motor and to the right of the brake booster. It looks like there may be some signs of the cowl caulk failure mentioned already in the thread.
  7. Just in case that one wasn't to your liking: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1984-1986-1988-Ford-Bronco-Pickup-Fog-Lamps-Marchal/312193531197?epid=1023728621&hash=item48b02f3d3d:g:rXwAAOSw1NJbNQfr
  8. Just make sure to get two of the flashers. While I haven't installed the rear one yet (hazards) for the front one I dremel-ed out the fuse box cover since it was taller than the stock flasher.
  9. I know the CRL glass I linked to above has the metal latch (was one of the criteria) but not sure if they kept the plastic one as part of the OEM version or not.
  10. Here is the one I recently ordered: http://crlaurence.com/crlapps/showline/offerpage.aspx?Productid=87860&GroupID=1482&History=30587:21770:1336:1383&ModelID=1482 With this gasket (I wanted the chrome rope): https://www.rubbertherightway.com/1986-ford-truck-restoration-parts-87257-prd1.htm?pSearchQueryId=2605960 Haven't installed them yet as my truck is still waiting for paint but I did a fair amount of research before ordering so hope the combo will work when the time comes.
  11. I will admit that I've looked at the posting more than my fair share tonight but man, I'd be terrified something would happen to them on a daily driver.
  12. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Marchal-Fog-Light-Ford-Motorsport-SVO-81-86-Mustang-Bronco-NOS-vintage/113710432458 And people say to invest in gold coins... Pretty neat seeing the full kit
  13. Haha it may be awhile - ever since I had issues finding a direct fit led (socket and height) I've been pulling the bulbs when I find them in the jy so I should be good for a few years ;)
  14. I think you are thinking about -B or -C perhaps? The -A is the 'over wheel well' molding when the trim has the vinyl insert. That number should be correct for that part.
  15. Hey Steve - what led do you put in this one? I remember looking a few months ago but wasn't confident on which would fit. I was thinking the original was something like a GE 50 (could be way off).
  16. But the 460 does sound a whole lot better starting up so it's got that going for it
  17. Haha with a 460, that's the smartest move one could make!
  18. Hey grump in, You can get the pump but not the sending unit? Knock on wood but haven't needed to research those yet. So when you got a new tank it was a 19 with reusing the sending unit or did you upgrade to the 38? Even with the 38 you'd still be in the same spot with not being able to get a 4 pin, right?
  19. Same boat. If I had a better solution for the spare and I knew more about the pump/sender situation I might do it. Maybe someday. I believe there are 2 different tanks and the f26d has the wide opening for the pump. Why is it that the bronco 33gal tank and sending unit wont work as a straight swap? I feel like I read why at some point but can't recall now.
  20. Yeah, two tanks currently with the switch and all that working. Just wanting to get a few more miles between fill ups :) Have the bed off now and going to be removing the 19gallon rear tank to paint the frame so figured now would be the ideal time to do the swap. May just save it for a later date though. Too many irons in the fire and all that.
  21. Thanks. I am actually wanting to keep both tanks as everything is working as expected currently. Was just going to increase capacity if it was easy enough to get an end result where everything worked as if it was stock.
  22. Interested in knowing the details/gotchas around this install also. This is F26D, correct? The one that works with the intank pump (86 460)? Started watching a few videos and reading some forum posts on it last night. It sounds like the F26D comes with everything needed to extend the pickup/pump/float. Is that correct? Good photos here: http://www.northtexaspowerstrokes.com/mods/38gallontank/ although I am not keen on buying a $100+ sending unit just to swap out the float.
  23. Has anyone removed the spring and bolt/latch from the assembly (either side). I looked at it briefly last night and I am assuming the retaining ring just needs to be rotated but wanted to see if I could learn from someone else's experience before I try this evening.
  24. Hey Gary, do you have a diagram for these? Are they replacements or add ons like the firewall flex plate?
