  1. Fortunately I don't have to redo my headliner but I wasn't sure if the jute plus the xmat would cause it to bulge in those doubled up areas as I assumed the jute was pressed up against the roof panel.
  2. Spent a few hours at the Ozark Empire Fair Auto swap meet today. It had rained earlier so a lot of vendors had tarps over their stuff and ended up only seeing a couple 80's doors and mirrors. Didnt want to leave empty handed so picked up some brochures I didn't have.
  3. Does he have a lot of Bullnose stuff to sell? Perhaps he needs to be a member? Maybe we need a vendor section? He usually has quite a bit of NOS bullnose stuff - one of the few sellers I frequently browse their store. I'd mentioned to him not long ago that I was looking for a part, while discussing another, and he went out to his storage unit and found one. I've never really visited vendor sections on forums. I do really like this section (a lot of credit to David) because it's nice to openly discuss an item/price.
  4. George (the seller) is absolutely great to work with. He actually drives an 85 F150.
  5. Saw it when it came out - good, fun movie!
  6. Did you remove the original jute from the headliner?
  7. My wallet needs 498 friends... Dane - these are like the ones on your supercab, right?
  8. I looked at a few of her NOS listings and they all are very reasonable.
  9. Has there been any change in the [lack of] continued development of nabble?
  10. “My daily driver. Its cool.” What more needs to be said?
  11. Ok, if you are wanting a small one, let me know. I haven't looked at the tsb in awhile but I assume the bracket remained the same until 97.
  12. I haven't as my 80 is manual linkage but I did plan on buying one from terrapin for future use. Ford offered the small and large so you should be safe with the one from BG. You're saying yours needs the large one at this point?
  13. I am guessing that ladder rack serves more than one purpose
  14. Bronco Graveyard still has the big one in stock. Not sure which one you were looking for.
  15. Can't recall ever seeing a Flareside utility bed adaptation. Kind of a neat throwback handyman look. https://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/d/dora-truck/6951677377.html
  16. Don't know about the lack of organic matter but they may have pulled the bumper out so they could drive it. All in all, it doesn't look too bad really. The headlight guard attachments like that can't take much force due to the leverage applied.
  17. You're right. I just pulled a couple units from some styleside trucks at the jy today to replace my cracked one. Nothing between the bed sheet metal and the plastic housing. In addition to the shape of the opening being different between flareside and styleside, it looks like the stylesides have an extra hole to the left of the opening. One unit I pulled was an E3 and the other an E4 and the only difference I can see is the size of that hole (E4 is larger).
  18. Are you looking for a name other than Burlwood? Looking at http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/instrument--radio-bezels.html Ford called both Rosewood and Burlwood 'wood grain'.
  19. That would be kind of funny - if they have the full harness there but saved a $5 switch for a higher trim. Edit: nevermind. My logic is flawed - a $5 switch from the Ford option list is $50 :)
  20. Well, I'll be - just checked my other trucks and my 1980 Custom only has the drivers side (the passenger is empty aside for a po using it to route a speaker wire) and my 1985 Custom only has the driver side with the passenger side having a plug in it like yours.
  21. Do you have them on both doors? I only have one on the driver's door. There's a rubber plug in the hole on the passenger side. Yeah, both doors. It's an xlt lariat if that matters? Have you ever looked behind the kick panel to see if the the wire is back there?
  22. Just got a set in from Rock Auto yesterday. Motorcraft SW-6345
  23. I hear the best time to bring up this view point is after repeatedly telling one's wife that they are running late
  24. Funny - I had the exact same thought/question. I was picturing strings of coke can pull tabs adorning every room in his house.
  25. I hadn't but impressive isn't even the right word. I only wish they had interviewed the gentleman before his passing as I am sure more than a few have a pretty good backstory to them. I would like to know what he drove daily and if he kept a few in a rotation :)
