  1. I must not be using the right words for these to return search results. The vertical grab handles on the b pillar. Are they OEM? I see them on standard cabs and supercabs. Most look similar so I assumed they are stock but maybe not. If they are, anyone have a number for them?
  2. Shaun - that is/was definitely a good looking 79. My grandpa and dad would be to blame. Born in 85 and up until I left for college, all we had for trucks was a 79 F250 and 3 F250 bullnoses for both farm use and daily drivers. The red truck below started it all for me and now safe to say it's an [unhealthy?] addiction. Although I keep telling my wife they are investments but she's not buying it. My grandpa's truck (taken just now): Current bullpen minus those at my place (taken this weekend when I was swapping out some door glass for Camano):

What about ARP, Powermaster, Summit (don't we all need more of their stickers?) or any of the header companies (Hedman, L&L, etc)? Not sure if any of them do anything beyond the stickers but I know my garage freezer could use some more stickers.
  4. I recently changed the one in our 95 C&C diesel (turbo) and it wasn't hydroboost but I just looked on the O'Reilly website and it does show the hydroboost unit as being applicable also. I will have to check the 94 C&C with the powerstroke to see what it has.
  5. I am looking for some 1986 Nutmeg interior parts: 1. Kick panels for manual vents 2. Manual vents 3. Under steering column collar 4. Ash tray I am looking for really nice specimens of these as I have some from earlier years but the color doesn't quite line up. Looking for some I don't have to paint.
  6. Perfect! Thank you. I definitely will be adding my items and keeping an eye on new entries.
  7. Again, I don't really know the swap meet etiquette but with a few personal parts trucks and a great jy nearby, I'd love to help people out with some wanted parts and not worry about shipping. And I have a few wish list items myself 😁 For simplicity a subforum under this one for wanted parts would be nice but it also might be too obscure?
  8. Hey Gary, Planning on being there (falls on my bday so sounds like a great way to spend it) and will likely bring one of my kids. I was wondering since I've never really been to a swap meet - is there a want list specific to this meet? Like some notation in the Want section to show that the member is going to be at the meet and that way others can comment that they will be bringing that part.
  9. Hey Bill - I'd like to see yours as well as a part number for the replacement hardware if you have it. Here is what came off mine (front boards on both sides). Minus the almost full length z bars that have 4 bolts that attach to one of the lips under the rocker. I don't know if any of these are original (would say at least some aren't) or even if my boards are deezee. Going to start blasting on these this evening to coat them. Since the holes are already present to mate them to my truck, I'll likely use them but I'd like to see how the official deezee ones look.
  10. Looks like the wrong number in the details but photo shows the correct one http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/#nabble-td27148
  11. Haha yeah I think my abides by form follows function so doesn't give too much in the aesthetic department. I really like those bumpers and agree that they fit the body style well. Looks like there are a lot of options to be had (how deep is the pocketbook) but not sure if they are all available for every application.
  12. You're right - that's got dealer a/c but I have never seen passenger side vents like that. I like how they mold into the center piece. That second truck is amazing. Wish they had more photos. Are those the factory/dealer fog lights?
  13. Yeah, that was a sad deal with his truck. The only time I had issues with swelling was when I bought some from a supplier that hadn't stored them properly so the top layer had gotten rained on. I think these bags have small perforations so that might help as humidity is definitely no stranger here. The vast majority around here are 100% oak so like you said, the ingredients may affect the moisture absorption. What kind of stove do you have?
  14. Here's the bumper on Chanute, my 80 1 ton. It was an oil rig out in Kansas.
  15. What about soldering and heat shrinking onto a premade unit? In which case you could get the end from a jy harness for cheap.
  16. Thank you :) She (5) and my son (6) were determined to help unload. We may have had to duct tape a few holes in the bags by the time they got them from the pallet to the back of the bed. Good thinking on the bumper- I'll post some photos of it there to see if it gives him any ideas.
  17. A lot of places call it a "90 Degree Single Contact Female Molded Connector" but you are correct - I am not seeing a place to get just the innards Google jtt2500h or MC-1-ANGLE as those where both the full boot part I found on two different sites
  18. Where does E4TZ 9A758-D fit? Found that one on the in the ebay/craigslist section. The reason I got to looking at this was that I am, let's say 'refurbishing' mine and noticed that there are differences I didn't expect between some the of ones I have on hand. The chart from Gary makes sense as the thicker one is what is in my 1980 f350 and 1985 f250. Both of which came with the rubber carpet. The thinner one is what is in both my 86 f250's. They are both Lariats with carpet. So making the assumption that thicker= E6TZ And thinner = E7TZ Here are the two different styles (the bottom two are the same):
  19. These are 174.50/ton and I'll need to get one more ton before winter They are a fairly local manufacturer so not sure how wide their coverage is. There are 3 brands one can get around here and these are the cheapest. Seems like pellets are hit and miss but I've stuck with these because they are local and my stove seems to like them. 2 tons at a time - I like it. Well, so long as you aren't behind me 😁 Couple years ago I did 2 tons on my 85 F350 running srw's and it was definitely feeling it. With just a ton on Chanute it was still a good inch away from the overloads and rode a whole lot smoother than empty!
  20. Speaking of ice storm weather... Always feel crazy picking up wood pellets when it's still July but had Chanute (and my helper) at the farm supply and saw they were in stock.
  21. For sure. That 1/2" - 3/4" blue building foam sheathing is worth it's weight in gold (luckily it's light). I use pieces of it almost on a daily basis and when I am going to pick something up that can be slid by hand I throw a piece in. Sit the item on it and it will slide really well over the mat on up into the bed.
  22. I don't think they were specific to EBs - just optional on high-trim trucks (Broncos & all Fs), and part of the '94-97 EB package. But they're hard to find & expensive. The support tubes alone are $500/pr new, because all the originals rust out. I make non-tubular direct-replacement supports: https://supermotors.net/getfile/885753/thumbnail/01stepinstalla.jpg They WERE made for Broncos, std.cabs, and X-cabs. I've never seen them on a 4-door. With the supercab version having the longer back part it actually doesn't look near as bad as I'd imagined.
  23. I just put in a thick rubber mat in my grandfather's 2015 F150. Really happy with it. It's at least easy to roll up and remove if needed. Our local farm supply has thick horse mats that I know people have taken a sawzall to and made bed mats with.
  24. Just remembered that I've see a few posts on a Jeep forum awhile back on using a diy kit called Raptor for the whole floor. They seemed to really like it.
