  1. Question: When we'll be able to test the "how it works" side, will these "reply posts" and "new topics" tests remain alter the the tests will end and the final Nabble transfer/conversion will be 100% effective? Or maybe all the tests we will make in InVision between now and then will just be lost?
  2. Lol, until now I just payed attention on the "how it looks" side. And didn't find a lot of bugs, transferring Nabble into InVision seems to be a success. But Vivek is correct. I'm now focusing on "how it works"... and it doesn't: We can't reply. We can't even create a new topic: Strange, the "action" submenu varies, not always the same: Gary, I was curious so I went to the "Old Invision Test" we made earlier this year. It's completely locked and this famous submenu is really short. I suppose it's normal: So I suspect that it has nothing to see with the conversion of or Nabble contents, but it's more on the InVision control panel that you have to look.
  3. Gary, not a complete list, but here is my observation about transferred icons : Broken animated gif: laughing head-rotfi waving Working animated gif:: claps jump handshake confused Working still icons:: whistling happy ho_no scared argh thinking
  4. Here is an example (one of your own comments). Curiously, this one doesn't react when I click on it, but I found some others that opened the gif itself when clicked. https://i331881.invisionservice.com/topic/10845-new-member-1986-xlt-4x4-50l/?do=findComment&comment=293038
  5. Ok ok guys, just in time, when I was thinking I didn't have any new project for Big Bro. My list was all checked. Re-installing clutch safety is now the new unchecked item on it.
  6. In your example, while the fonts are different in New Members Start Here, I don't think we should be seeing much of that text at all. If you compare the Nabble home page to the Invision home page you'll see that Nabble just has the name of the folder or thread where Invision has the description of the folder or the first 3 lines of the last post in a thread. I suspect that we can change the amount of description that is shown. But we will need to figure out how we want to do this. I'm going to play with it and see what can be done. Gary, what about our threads/posts made in Nabble since last July 9th? There's nothing more recent in InVision, it probably (I suppose) corresponds to the date their technicians began to convert our current Nabble forum.

Will this statement stay true?

The gif icons transferred from the Nabble forum, sometimes they work and sometimes not (there's a hyperlink for the gif icon, you have to click on it to see the icon moving).
  9. Gary, about the formatting... Is it too soon to discuss about it? Is there a way to "standardize" the font size on the main page? We're jumping from big to small, bold, medium, etc. Arrows are pointing some examples:
  10. Gary, seems that I'm trapped in the "old" InVision testing forum. Using this url, I can login and my password works but... I do not see the Nabble transferred content. I just see the tests we made last spring.
  11. I didn't thought that some things maybe could be seen differently if being logged or not. It will be interesting to keep it in mind and also look at the Forum without being logged. Agree. But for those not familiar with InVision, the pilot (Gary) has control on multiple adjustments and switches to "customize" the way our Forum will work, and how it appears on different devices. Gary has already "tweaked" couple if things, but I'm pretty sure we'll find some refinements to make. So, even it's not an exercise to determine if we like or not InVision, it's important to report to Gary any "frustration" or "wish", maybe it's possible for him to modify/add some InVision functionality.
  12. Good to know, thanks! I remember that I had difficulty to find the Station Wagon Escort ones, took me some time to find the driver's side one. Your solution is great!
  13. LOL! Each time I'm sure I've done all I had to, there's something that happens. Divide the remaining total (2%) by two, for each new step forward. Next will be 1%. Then 0.5%... and so on. We never reach zero.
  14. :nabble_love-23x23_orig: I LOVE it!
  15. Nice job Gary! Simply cropping the pict before posting does the job.
  16. Gentlemen, I unplugged the connector from the oil pressure sending unit and grounded it. With key contact on, the gauge needle slowly went to maximum. I let the contact on, unplugged the connector, and the needle went slowly down to zero. So I thoroughly cleaned up the connector and the sending unit terminal. Started up the engine, and the oil pressure gauge needle climbed right in the middle. Later today was the manure duty, and a hot idling engine gave a lower oil pressure, would say first third. Higher RPM and the gauge needle goes back to the middle. So, I think Big Bro's problem was a dirty contact at the sending unit. Thanks for the advice!
  17. I drive a 2018 Chevy Volt, and I 100% share your opinion. 6 years old and the battery can't hold more that 80% full charge, compared with when it was new. Hopefully it is hybrid, and I still maintain my 3.1L/100km (78mpg) average. Short distances EV, long gas. Talking with the dealer about EV pickups, I learned that changing such battery can reach up to 20K$ CAD (15000$ US)!!! Who will be willing to pay that money when their vehicle autonomy will drop to 2/3??? Wally is just ahead.
  18. I recently noticed similar behavior for Big Brother's oil pressure gauge. Lower than usual at cold start, and lower-lower when hot. Never drops out of the "normal" range, but flirting with the lower line. I'll give a try to Vivek suggestion.
  19. So y'all need to make sure your email address is correct. ASAP! Hopefully Monday we will start testing and we will need all the help we can get. Good news! I'm excited to test this new forum!
  20. I'm surprised that Gary didn't already reacted with a big "Bummer!" So, I'll do it: Bummer! Not sure my english formulation is good, but I would say that your openness honors you.
  21. Yep, I call it "long shortcuts". It's the only way to discover nice back country.
  22. There is an excellent article here, about the B100. Very instructive. Thanks y'all, I'm happy to know now about these trucks!
  23. Very interesting! I didn't know about the F-"B"-Series, now I do, thanks! Looking over the web to know more about these trucks, I noticed something strange and I am wondering if they all had a rear door on the passenger side only. I picked these pictures as example on this link.
  24. Sorry to be late guys. These new lens DO NOT come with the button. You have to swap your button from your old lens. If you have some... Kurt, I bought one from JBG, when it arrived it had a light scratch on it... I informed JBG and they sent me a replacement one. I also think I still have another old lens that might still have the button/spring on it. I don't know where you are located, but I could send you the new "slightly scratched" lens plus the old button/spring (I have to first verify I still have it). For the price of the shipping.
