  1. Boy! The only thing remaining is the dash itself!
  2. Isn’t this the case for a lot of rules and laws?
  3. Any picts of this controlled atomic airburst?
  4. Can’t say about the transmission/position indicators (P/D/R), but I suspect it’s customized, it really looks as LEDs. And since the right and left upper corners of the printed circuit are obviously modified, I would say these 3 arrangements are not original. But I can be wrong…
  5. LOL! One of my sons said it’s probably pathological and I should consult. I answered that I already had a diagnosis, and unfortunately (for them) it’s degenerative and incurable.
  6. I know this is stupid (at least in my wife and kids opinion), but I need to post it. Maybe some of you will understand me. 40 years ago, this May 7th, Big Bro left the factory to begin his truck life. Happy 40 Big Bro!
  7. I just have no words to express how I feel, looking at this devastation. It’s just… crazy. 😢
  8. Gary, how was the night? Seems that the severe storm sector that causes these tornados is moving N-E., towards the Ohio valley. I read that Osage County was severely hit. Pretty scary.
  9. Ok, thanks for the info. I had good contact with Bob until I sent the package and since then, nothing.
  10. Ok Gary, I take notes. I’ll see at it more closely and won’t proceed if I’m not sure. So don’t be surprised if I ask more questions about the voltmeter connection. When I’ll receive it…
  11. I have no news from Bob/Rocketman… I sent him my NOS ammeter for conversion, and tracking is confirming the delivery on last April 26th. I emailed Bob to be sure everything is ok on his side, no sound, no image.
  12. Wow, thanks so much Sir. Can’t wait to rebuild Big Brother’s C610! Plug’n play is quite difficult when the plug is gone… Yep, absolutely!
  13. Looks that there is (at least) to different clips shapes available on Amazon. Do they all fit our trucks?
  14. Sorry to hear that. Don’t know why, sometimes these trucks sell very high, sometimes not. Maybe the region where we live… still a mystery for me. Good luck!👍
  15. That’s fantastic, thanks so much! Just email me the shipping fees.
  16. Jim - Sorry you’re done. I was supposing that a M8 bolt plus a good washer could block the 3G on the crescent slider. Gary - This looks exactly what I need! I have everything needed to crimp, solder, heat shrink, waterproof link, etc. Just leave the longer wires as possible, I’ll do the rest.
  17. Jim, I verified and the 3G I bought is M8 x 1.25. Question: Why tap it 3/8-16 NC? I have plenty M8 x 1.25 bolts on hand…
  18. Don’t worry Gary, Big Bro runs fine, no rush. I continue to search on my side.
  19. The salvage is internally corroded, blades broken. And not sure about the C323 idea… Yep, they “fit” perfectly, but one of the C610 wire has a much bigger gauge (yellow):
  20. Username AND password are the minimum. I would be very surprised that forum conversations can be moved without its members database. If possible, signature, avatar, but not a must, each member can go back and edit his/her personal information.
  21. The question is whether it is worth ~$2000 to have our last almost 7 years of the Bullnose forum migrated over to the new forum as if everything was on InVision from the start. I don't yet know what the cost will be nor how complete/accurate the migration might be, but if it was complete would it be worth that? The alternate would be to lock the existing Nabble forum and just use it for history - as long as it is available. But at some point I suspect it'll go away and we won't have it to refer to. Or, it'll be part of the Way Back machine and we'll have to get to it that way. Wouldn't it be nicer to have all of our history as part of the new forum and not have to go elsewhere to find our comments? Ok, thanks Gary, I wake up. For the benefit of members reading at this thread, let’s recap a bit (and please correct me if I am wrong). We have three different main “parts” for this forum: • The Web site itself and its multiple pages, such as the structured Documentation library, which is hosted on a web hosting service called “Weebly”. • The documents themselves (Word, Excel, PDF, JPG scans, etc) which are stored somewhere (I suppose on the Weebly server too). We have access to these documents from the Web site pages. • The discussion part called “Forum”, now using Nabble platform and that will probably move to InVision’s one. In order to “mix” the documentation and the discussions sides together, the discussions one (the Forum) is embedded in the Web site. So we access to it from a Web page, the same way we access to the reference documents. All in all, we just need to understand that the Library and its documents will not move and will stay as they are now. Exactly the same. Only the Nabble forum (embedded in the Web site) would be replaced by a new one (probably InVision). ———————— THAT BEING SAID: Do I understand that the “to be or not to be” question is: 1- Can we move all members past conversations and exchanges (threads, topics) to InVision without losing anything? 2- Can we keep it under a “forum” form? IMHO, its a must. The amount of information that has grown here represents a huge part of this treasure, as important as the Library documentation is. The “past” Forum should stay as a Forum, not as a supplemental document of the Library that we (maybe?) could easily search into. If technically possible, moving the Forum and keeping it searchable, at least the same as Nabble is now, is a must. Personally, I think that we attract new members because anybody can navigate in the forum, read at the conversations, grab information, advices and tricks here and there and, finally, decides to jump on the train. Even with a tremendous Library, an empty brand new Forum won’t be as attractive as a dynamic full one is. My first experience here was the Forum side, I searched there before I discovered the Library. People become members because of the Forum side. We’re in a rock show. We can’t simply move to another performance hall and start over a new concert. The band has to transfer too and keep playing the tune.
