Apologies Ray.
I never intended to suggest you were ignorant.

If you knew me, you'd know that I'm the LAST person to be competitive.

It really is just process control.
The process of getting fuel vapor into your cylinders

Yup. Ive used heating elements and thermocouples before.

Once I get the system intalled and running, we will see if there is a problem to engineer a solution for.

Right now, all I have done is assumed there will be a problem. Might not need to worry about it.

It may not such an issue for you down in Kentucky, Ray.

But up here, spraying gasoline (with its inherent low vapor pressure) into an aluminum intake that will be single digit (US units) temperature is going to invite condensation and icing.

As I suspect David has gone home for the day,
And I’m just waiting on my granddaughter to finish ballet,
I’ll answer your question to say,
That David picked up the manifold at my house and may,
Not be able to install it for a few years, to his dismay

Very nice Ray!

A local guy posted a new 300 intake for sale a couple days ago for $500 CDN (about $380 USD).
No idea if that is a good price or not...but I probably couldn't buy one in the US and have it shipped here for that.

Mr. Lewis, you are a poet!  The manifold and adapters are tucked away [to rhyme with your "say", "may" and "dismay"].

Cory, the one you posted is a Dual Port and the one Ray has is a "C" Series [open].

What are you going to use a 300 intake for? I thought your flareside was a v8?

May I ask why you have it tucked away? You waiting for the market value to skyrocket or something?

No. I plan to keep my truck stock for a while longer, but saw an unusual item, which could become part of a future plan, and purchased it.
