  1. https://bend.craigslist.org/cto/d/prineville-f150/7413432723.html Needs some work, not too bad on the price.
  2. Nice! Hmm… ready for a nuclear blast I think!
  3. Yeah, pretty much This truck spent the first part of it's life in New Mexico, so it wasn't terrible when I bought it. But it had spent some time in Gary, Indiana, and was just starting to have the rust come through the bedsides above the rear tires. And it's gotten a lot worse in the last 9 years. Nice find, glad it worked out! Man, it’s been awhile since I was in a salt the roads environment (Indiana). I don’t think I could do it again. What I call rust, the rust belt folks wouldn’t see! I probably wouldn’t consider buying a vehicle from the coast out here. Pretty spoiled in that regard.
  4. Two heads are better than one… wait, some don’t think so!
  5. Interesting. I didn’t think there was a CCSB in the 80’s trucks but wasn’t sure. Yeah, I don’t see the point in this at all. If because you can great, but don’t display it as rare.
  6. Looks like they did a little better ad. https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/verdi-1986-ford-350-crew-cab-4x4/7412564032.html Edit: a little pricey to me.
  7. That’s neat! I’ve always thought it’d be cool to live in an old two service bay gas station.
  8. https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/verdi-1986-ford-350-crew-cab-4x4/7412564032.html Not enough pictures.
  9. No, this says it’s a 22R, which is carbureted, and manual Aisin hubs, which are good hubs.
  10. This shocks me. 225k on this truck wouldn’t concern me if it’s not thrashed, doesn’t look it. Last year of the straight axle. Good old 22R. Not the SR5 and all, looks like it has A/C. I’m surprised they’re not asking at least 5 or 6000 more for this. Bet it goes quick. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/central-point-1985-toyota-pickup-4x4/7411890964.html Hmmm… wouldn’t mind having this one.
  11. Yes, I was without a truck for about a year or so, first time without one for 33 years. Had my Bronco and a 1987 4Runner. Used the trailer for trash. Had it parked inside the back gate. Snowed some and got cold, had a heck of a time getting it out. Decided to leave it outside the gate for the winter, came to get it two weeks later and had to fight through 2 feet of snow. Decided then I wanted a truck, always! I agree, trailers are good for that, but I like putting in the back, dumping it and I’m done. I’m just too crippled up to fight that kind of stuff anymore.
  12. I like that first page, Bob Glidden’s Chief Auto Parts Pro Stock racer. I mentioned before I was going through the pits at Pomona Drag Strip and walked around to the back of his Pro Stocker and it had under the spoiler, “Have you driven a Ford lately?” Man he was pretty much dominating when I was hanging around the SoCal dragstrips.
  13. My wife keeps telling me to get a newer truck.
  14. That’s funny! Those guys always cracked me up.
  15. I guess y’all. Must be time to sell my Bronco! Of course, then I couldn’t afford or want to pay too much for what’s next!
  16. https://bend.craigslist.org/cto/d/bend-1985-bronco-custom/7411493653.html Yowsa!
  17. Nice! Man, great you guys could do a trip like this. I have a question or two. How are the campgrounds now after covid? Hard to find spots?
