  1. https://klamath.craigslist.org/cto/d/77-lincoln-continental-town/6638018452.html What is that oil filter looking thing on the air cleaner? https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1970-ford/6636901079.html Well, what do you know. Appears, to me, to be a 351 Cleveland.
  2. I'd leave it. For those that like documentation, you can never have enough of it;). I agree! Thank you!
  3. OK, now I do remember. I have seen a Nite Bronco before.
  4. Sounds like a good plan, in research I have done, some suggest vinegar. I think that's a good idea because it's mild as you said. I always use distilled water now, didn't when I was younger and always in a hurry! (i.e ignorant!)
  5. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1983-ford-250-turbo-diesel/6622100085.html No clue on the "affadavit" part.
  6. Maybe I'm missing something here, but wouldn't that be for trucks sold to RV manufacturers to build motorhomes?
  7. OK, thanks! Don't remember hearing of it, probably did though!
  8. My 1986 FSM has District/Special Order Codes on page 10-00-3, item 21, like Rembrandts.
  9. Is the "Nite" stripe a dealer installed item? Man, good price, good find!
  10. I think, (heavy on the think part!), they did put the 351M in the early Bullnose Broncos. Good point, that could cause the confusion. I shouldn't be cynical, "Cleveland" is one of those buzz words people like to use. Same as most of the Ford "Highboys" magically have 390 engines in them. It's my understanding Ford never put anything bigger than the 360 (externally identical to the 390) in the "Highboys". Alas, I'm no expert at all, and should not let these things bug me!
  11. Yes, page 10-00-20, at the top it says District Sales Office (DSO) and Wheelbase (WB) Codes.
  12. "And that's why I'm wanting to compile a list of what Ford publications say about DSO." I appreciate and applaud your efforts! Just hope you don't end up in the looney bin in the process!
  13. As a matter of fact, yes! I just took it for a drive, and the noise does go away with a light touch of the brakes. Maybe the pads are loose... It is the weirdest thing because I can't hear it at all just driving down the road, but as soon as I go along something that will echo the sound, I can hear it...click click clack... Same thing on my Bronco. The pad "clip" had fallen out sometime or another. Didn't know until it got warmer and I had the window down going past a building. I had another vehicle do that to me, can't remember which one.
  14. I'm cynical about that being a 351 Cleveland engine. I was giving a vet a ride home one day in my Bronco, and he asked which engine I had. I said a 351. And he says Cleveland? I chuckled and said no Windsor. Edit: The ad says everything original. I thought only Australia had production of 351 Clevelands past 1974.
  15. Does it stop if you lightly apply the brakes?
  16. https://klamath.craigslist.org/cto/d/1984-ford-f150/6637415741.html Looks nice.
  17. They got better, my Bronco passenger seat goes very far forward.
  18. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1985-bronco-4x4/6636524035.html Nice spare tire cover!
  19. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1986-ford-250-lariat/6615624704.html Can't imagine trying to get in the back with the bench seat installed.
  20. Ad now says $1850 runs and drives great. Not sure what he originally said was wrong but I guess he fixed it? Yes, good catch! Hmmm... that's a good price, if it's in pretty good shape.
  21. I just checked Google Maps, and it says it is a 54 hour drive for me...lol. 3662 Miles. Ha! That's a drive!
