  1. Nice! Had an eye on those. Good find!
  2. “Grumpin, the Lake Havasu yard does have a few Bullnose but not very many and they have been there a while. It depends on what you need. For engine/mechanical parts or body panels you might have some luck, but if you are looking for trim or interior items it probably isn’t worth your time. They have a very decent bed that I was scoping for my ‘81 but unfortunately it only has the one fuel door and I only have a rear tank 😔” Ok, thanks. Bummer on the bed, looks good in the picture. I don’t like using the steering wheel to pull up either. But the PO of my 94 F250 did it all the time. When I bought that truck I was surprised how stiff the wheel was, like he never did it. It was tilt also.
  3. They have any bullnoses in that junkyard in Lake Havasu? I go there sometimes. Might swing by next time I’m there.
  4. Here's a typically priced local one. https://klamath.craigslist.org/cto/d/tulelake-97-ford-l/7085672292.html
  5. So does the manifold shear the bolts off in the head too, or does it just crack? We had a Jeep years ago with this exhaust manifold issue, and the expansion/contraction of it would shear the end manifold bolts off in the cylinder head. Ok, good info in any case. I've been told to listen for the tick tick tick exhaust noise. "Ok, good info in any case. I've been told to listen for the tick tick tick exhaust noise." The two 460's I have owned, this one and a 1994 both tick when they are cold, goes away when they warm up.
  6. Worked for me. Came up quick. I would say normal. I've been noticing that sometimes I'll read through a few posts on a thread, no pictures. Come back later and the pictures are there. Thought it was me, but noticed it. On my laptop (Windows 7) and my iPad.

  8. Or you don't know how to or want to fix it, and go to what you know. I can't imagine those EFI systems being something you couldn't fix!
  9. I don't recall ever having problems with EFI on the 94 F250 with the 460 I used to own. The E4OD in that truck was another story. I've often said the "torquers" are hard on them. But after talking and reading I'm starting to think it's hit or miss. Or I had a lemon. The E4OD in my Bronco has been trouble free and I have over 188,000 on it and I don't think it has ever had any major work on it.
  10. Champion is one I have been eyeing, but have no experience with them. https://www.championradiators.com/Ford-F-series-truck-radiator-1980-1984 You can find them on Amazon and Jegs and such.
  11. Nice job! That's a great idea running a dedicated ground for that. You can't be grounded too good. I do that with CB antennas, even though they have a good ground I'll run one from the mount to a good ground.
  12. Good job! That's not fun work to me. Those look like the seats in my truck. I like them they are comfortable. Both arm rests fold down for that Captain feel! I like them better than my Bronco seats, which is kind of odd to me, as I really liked the buckets seats in my 1994 F250 Super Cab I used to have. The Bronco seats have too much of an angle in the base to me. Meaning my knees are higher than my bottom.
  13. "We wanna be free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man!"
  14. I haven't used them very much so I can't really give you a very good review, but back on Christmas day I took the truck for a drive while the driver's side vent was removed and I darn near froze my feet off...lol. So...I was getting very good air flow that day, but it was cold out, so it probably seemed like more than it was. You'll have to have a window open a little bit for them to work I think. OK, thanks! I forget which truck it was, but had one that when you opened a window or the rear slider it came in good. After it hadn't been opened for awhile you would get pummeled with debris!
  15. I have them in my truck, and they do seal well. Like Jon says, they have a good foam seal, and the door is pretty tight anyway. The one on the driver's side is a pain to remove due to the park brake mechanism being in the way, but it's not impossible. I had to remove mine to repair/replace my door switch mechanism and to run wires to the door. I haven't done the passenger side yet but will take some pictures when I do. Do you get good airflow Cory?
  16. Nope. Understood. I had been around GM Quadrajets and mostly Carters, which are now Edelbrock I believe. I’ve had problems with Carters, wasn’t sure about this Holley. But went the easy route with the linkage, and glad I did. It has responded great in all aspects of operation.
  17. I’m in on two phases, great point about working out the bugs before phase 2. The Holley. I’ve never had one before this truck, I really like them. If you remember I put a new classic Holley 600 CFM with the electric choke to replace my OEM Holley. Bumped the jets down two for the altitude here. Very easy to do.
  18. Armstrong steering? No power steering. Edit: The new motor in the Bronco works good!
  19. I had no starter fluid handy, so I guess this a riskier alternative, the sound goes away and the revs drop. I probably used 1/2 cup of water and about 1/8 of that got sucked in... Espy is on bed rest for a few days! I skip town on Sunday for a week due to work so I am pushing to get as much done before then as I can, so when I get back I can enjoy driving her! Cool! And I learned something new!
