  1. I wouldn’t drill it. I would get several sizes up and down from what you have in there and take them on the trip.
  2. They're throwing concrete construction debris and fresh concrete in it to fill it. Ocala is very prone to sinkholes due to it's geographical location (over the acquifer) and constantly messing with the roads and stressing the land to build new things like retention ponds doesn't help. Wow!

Nice job! A lot of work!
  4. Well not really. There should be a check valve between the vacuum supply and the holding tank to keep this from happening. My check valve is in place but is bad and at times I can hear the air flow change where it is going. So just because the valve is in the line check to make sure it is working. And yes that tin can can also rust out and cause a vacuum leak, been there done that also. Dave ---- With a leak the vacuum tank can only do so much. I had a small leak on the recirculating door plumbing on my Bronco and it would show up on long climbs in the mountains. Had a big leak on my truck, hose knocked off by a mechanic, and it would catch up and go to vent, but any acceleration and it would go back to defrost.
  5. Ha! I have my moments, but usually it’s just
  6. Forward one is drivers, rearward one is pass. on mine. Edit: I’m always using the wrong one!
  7. Vacuum loss while accelerating is most likely a vacuum leak.
  8. Good price. I was looking at their Icon metric wrenches last night. Need some good ones, but can’t really justify Snap-On’s. Although I am considering them. Best price I found. https://www.shamrocksupply.com/itemDetailFilterPH.action?RFP=SP&kwd=DRI&IDP=Y&codeId=20963052
  9. But if a winch-style carrier would work it would solve the problem of the heavy spare. My intent was to use a fold-down license tag holder like the one Chris/ctubutis sent me, below, to cover a hole in the bumper to access the winch's drive mechanism. I cleaned, lubed and operated the one I had in the 4Runner once a year for that reason. Got lucky, was able to get it to work when I first tried it. It was stiff.
  10. Scooby Doo vibe, that’s funny! Have to carry extra levelers for the rake! I can see the bigger bathroom. As Gary mentioned, I’ve had several truck campers, and the ones with bathrooms were small. Had a 19 foot conventional trailer that seemed big! I like this size for reasons Cory mentioned and if I got a bigger motorhome then I’d want a toad, and I don’t have a vehicle now that I would tow. I should probably save the money and get motel rooms. But this covid nonsense has me thinking differently.
  11. Good job! Looks nice. I’ve been thinking of an RV again. Looking at class B and C Motorhomes. And small trailers, and truck campers. Actually anything that catches my eye! Here’s one I like. https://sacramento.craigslist.org/rvs/d/rio-linda-1988-trans-van-champion-21/7130421075.html
  12. Sorry to hear this. Based off the reverse issue, doubt this suggestion but check your vacuum lines. Excellent suggestion! Usually the first thing I think of.
  13. That’s a nice tool(s) you made! I have a lot of tight spaces tools from working on aircraft. I have this set from Snap-On, worth it. https://shop.snapon.com/product/Low-Profile-Socket-Sets%2C-Inches/12-pc-1-4%22-Drive-12-Point-SAE-Flank-Drive-Low-Profile-Ratchet%2FSocket-Set-(3%2F16-9%2F16%22)/112RTA
  14. Neat valve! The one I’m using on the Bronco is a bypass, so four ports. I would like to see and know what you think when it’s installed.
