I think Walker crinkles the already aluminized tube.
Certainly the compression in those bends changes the structure, because they are not normalized (annealed) after bending.
There's always going to be some pressure for EGR (unless your truck has zoomed, like a top fuel dragster....
8th bends are pretty common.
Even 16th bends aren't too hard to find.
I've never seen 18th bends off the shelf.
You usually have to pie slice those from a U-bend or something..
I think the only "sir" here may be Gary! 😄
There sure are a lot of variations and nuances.
That's what's so great about having all the documentation (and even with that, we find anomalies and omissions everyday!)
Welcome!
Very well done with that tailgate letter!
Though they look good on your truck, mine came with those argent 'turbine' wheel covers.
Unfortunately they love to load with ice and mud throwing my wheel balance off so much that I would pull over to check if the nuts were tight.
(Turns out it was the nut behind the wheel! )
I certainly didn't mean to be critical, either.

You could set up something like patreon.
Sure there's an overhead cost, but they take care of all the currency conversions, monthly subscriptions, annual, one time, it doesn't matter.....
There were three different versions of Hot Fuel Handling, that I know of.
It all depends on which switch you have, and how the relays and valve were wired.
Thanks Matt. The welder I found says he has done this typerepair on several Chevys and he gave me references. I'll check em out.
By minimizing the size of the patch you minimize the panel distortion.
I don't think anyone makes front wheel arches, just complete fenders
A good body man can fit some metal and make it almost good as new.
Then use a waterproof filler (I use West System epoxy) so it won't hold water, like Bondo does
That guy Jerry shows it done (on a Chevy pickup)
Does the 4.9 have a return, or do they get a 3 port valve and just a pickup, deadheaded again the float valve?
I thought by '86 (big bung) the 4.9 had an in-tank pump..
Sure you can buy a sender.
The issue with '86 is that it has a big bung, so you have to get one for a 351HO/460 that had the mechanical fuel pump.
JBG seems to have them for a decent price.
Nothing yet.
A newer member from Pennsylvania inquired about having a more local meeting than Skiatook Oklahoma.....
I guess he lives in the capital region somewhere. 🤷♂️
