  1. Unfortunately, not! Connecticut doesn't seem to grow much of anything except for apples and excellent tobacco wrappers.
  2. I have Liland tanks. 👍. Their quality is great, compared to others. My driveshaft beat the hell out of the side tank before it finally flew free and the powder coating is still almost intact. I can't find the pic, (maybe I deleted it) but I know it's posted in my thread about the destroyed pumpkin...
  3. The bed lines match. The tailgate can be swapped. The taillights are different, but the opening and mounting is the same. So, it's up to you if you want better backup lights and a smooth corner use the Bricknose taillights. If you want it more Bullnose, use the '80-'86 taillight housings.
  4. The filler necks are different.... You will get the 'upgraded' -fill through the center- fillers, but you need to take the Bullnose vent retainer collars out of the neck of the fuel tanks. I suppose you could just smash them flat if you have a pair of Big Azz Channelocks. (Yes, that's the ACTUAL model!) The inner (fill) hose has to hang. It will hang up on that ring if you don't do something
  5. When my ex's daughter was still in diapers she wanted to go in "the big red truck" I'd find a good size parking lot, she would sit in my lap and tell me to go faster or slow down. She caught on really quick, even at 18mo.
  6. 83-86 E-350 with a 460. Could be anything from the base model, Club or even Chalet. Church buses used to be the best way to score. 😉
  7. And that is why I like my van pump.❤️ No noise, plenty of power, from the Saginaw
  8. The noise is more than just air in the system. If you ever turn the wheel with the engine off it WILL squirt out the vent hole in the fill cap/dip stick
  9. It's cool! If you want me to move it, just let me know....
  10. Spread bore carbs aren't that popular anymore....
  11. Shouldn't this be in the marketplace? I mean, NONE of these trucks ever came with a 429, let alone a CJ or SCJ. I have seen D0OR headed 460's stuffed in a pickup before, and had a buddy with a Ranchero, dual quad tunnel ram 429 (tubbed under the tonneau) I'm not trying to criticize, it's just an observation...
  12. The Grrrring is a signature of all Ford vehicles with that pump.
  13. It's certainly not the pump. The pump is spinning the same, either way you turn.
  14. We've got plenty of members with trucks 94 through '97. Gary has a 2015!
  15. You think? Ask Bill about CRES. Because no steel is truly 'stainless' 309 & 409 are probably what you'll find most often
  16. I went with the vinyl option for 80-86 and made it fit my truck. Worked well with hog rings.
  17. I lucked out and bought a Magnaflow universal tail pipe from Amazon for under $40 delivered. Not a current number, but it fit great, and I cut off a Audi stainless hanger. Demon sells stainless flux core wire.... 🤪 Edit: you said you read my post from 2011....
  18. You change the pulley Go read the 3G upgrade tutorial.....
  19. DO IT! You won't be disappointed. I order from DB Electrical. But, you be you....
  20. 2.25" out is not nearly enough for a 460. You really ought to consider a 3G swap. Even a 95 amp unit will charge much better at low engine RPM then a 1G could ever consider.
  21. If the bugs are still in the rubber ends just slip come vacuum hose over, just like you were splicing a brittle colored line in the engine bay.
  22. Smoke works. Even if you don't smoke, you can run a tube out the window to the vacuum manifold on the front of the cowl and use titanium tetrachloride. They use this to find drafts in houses and cars.....
