  1. Wow, he obviously knows how to handle his Jeep.
  2. Man, that looks like fun! But did the guy get through the v-notch? That looks hard!
  3. Can you see them on the Entrants tab here: http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/2020-truck-show.html?
  4. Bill - Not sure what you mean by "tallying the vote". You click the button for your selection then click the Vote button at the bottom? You won't see how many have voted nor for whom they voted until the end. John - Welcome!
  5. I'm not familiar with the system, but have you gone through the diagnostics and testing procedure here: Documentation/Electrical/Electronic Engine Control (EEC)?
  6. Look what came in last night. What am I going to do with all of these? Where am I going to send them? Who is going to win one of them? VOTE!
  7. Christian - I'm not sure you should use aluminum for your fuel lines. I'm not up on that so maybe Jim will have a better idea. On the frame, I'd coat it with something like POR-15 while you have it clean and easily accessable.
  8. Ok, sports fans, I have another question: Do we need to extend the voting? I could easily extend it for another day, meaning include Saturday. Or more if we think it is needed. Thoughts, please?
  9. Ok, I think I found the problem. The links on the 2020 Truck Show page in the menu at the top are now fixed and work for me. And the links in the 2020 Virtual Truck Show folder work. VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. No, it isn't part of the thread at the top, in the menu. They's why I sent the link. Go to the new folder 2020 Virtual Truck Show. There you will see each of the poll threads, and click on them.
  11. I can see each of them. But maybe that's 'cause I created them? At the bottom of each it says "This poll ends on Sep 18, 2020; 10:38pm. Results will be shown only after poll has ended. You have to vote before you can see the results." Maybe that has something to do with it? Is there no way for you to vote? Can you post a screen shot?
  12. I can see them. Here is a link to Best Engine, and you can't see the poll? Here's a screen capture at a really small percentage to show what I see. No one else sees this??????
  13. The polls are open and you have 48 hours to vote for the best engine, ugliest truck, etc. Go to the 2020 Virtual Truck Show folder and you'll find the 6 threads for the polls. VOTE!
  14. This is your opportunity to vote for the Best Story out of the 52 entries in the 2020 Virtual Truck Show. You can vote only one time, but you can come back any time during the two days of polling and change your vote. However, you will not be able to see the results until the polling is over.
  15. This is your opportunity to vote for the Ugliest Truck out of the 52 entries in the 2020 Virtual Truck Show. You can vote only one time, but you can come back any time during the two days of polling and change your vote. However, you will not be able to see the results until the polling is over.

  20. Why not use the service procedure set out in the link above?
  21. Guys - Thanks, but .............. I do hope we can go back to face-to-fact GTG's. I've really liked getting to meet many of you and would like to meet many more. However, we normally have something like 20 trucks entered and maybe half of those are locals and not forum members. So we might have 10 forum members here with their trucks, although others have come w/o their trucks. But this year we have 52 trucks entered, all of which are owned by members - probably 40 different members across at least 5 different countries: Germany, Netherlands, UK, Canada, and the US. Given that, once the dust settles on this year's show we need to talk about what we want for a show going forward. So please be thinking about what we can do. Is there a way to do both in-person as well as virtual? Do we invite the "locals", some of which drove over 100 miles each way to get here.
  22. It went in easily. With just a bit of weight on the tire, like maybe it just resting on the floor, the ball joint's stud could be moved to allow the eccentric to go in. I slid it in, tapped it down with a plastic-tipped hammer, and then put the nut on and tightened it down. I watched the setting as I tightened the nut and it didn't change at all. Without a lift it would be easier with the tire off. But you may also need a jack under the outboard end of the spindle to shift the ball joint slightly. So if you know where you want the settings I'd give it a try. It was tedious but worked out very well. Or, at least I think it did. Steve knows what he's going to work on next Wednesday.
