  1. Bill - That does sound like an Edge problem. All - Nabble has fixed the email problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  2. I have been having the same problem, but was waiting to see if someone else had it as well. Hadn't thought about Chrome and the ad blocking, but just tried Edge and had the same problem. I'll report it to Nabble.
  3. Looks like it really didn't sell as it is being re-listed: https://www.ebay.com/itm/323087578154?ul_noapp=true.
  4. I can't tell. I put the block info from the master parts catalog up on the website (Engines/Windsor Series), as you can see on the "255 & 302" tab. There were yearly changes, but it doesn't say what they were. And since EFI came out in '85 on the 302 there's no way for me to know.
  5. THAT'S what that is! I have one from Huck for the E4OD going in Dad's truck.
  6. Yep, I can see where it was, and the bolts to which it attached. Or, were you suggesting that the shown engine oil cooler would work on the power steering?
  7. Ok, check it out now: http://www.garysgaragemahal.com/gauges1.html
  8. I can't get in the edit the website right now, but I'll do it as soon as I can. Thanks.
  9. My bull bar indeed measures 34" between the uprights. And it is a perfect fit on a front bumper. But Dad's frame measures 40" outside/outside, so these bars don't mount to the frame. Look at the pic of Jerry's and you'll see some hardware at the bottom. I'll ask him for some pics to clarify.
  10. Bill - That looks like a good solution. I should have room on the passenger's side to put that cooler once I get the engine oil cooler turned up and moved to the driver's side.
  11. Here's Jerry/Ozark1's mounted on his Bullnose. Looks just like mine. Will measure, again, after i finish this fresh cup of Joe and get out to the shop. I'm guessing I mis-measured.
  12. I was told it is from a Bullnose, but I really don't know for sure. I will carry it down and see if it fits Huck, which has the later frame. And, it is sitting beside a few Bullnose front bumpers so I can see if the outline and bolt holes match.
  13. Jonathan - The info about the Saginaw's shaft or nose being 5/8" longer than a C2 is significant here. I'm guessing that the Cardone 20-6244 had about that much thickness to the adapter on the shortest hole. For the others as we've discussed this, that does two things. First, it puts the pulley in the proper alignment, which others have done with all sorts of spacers. Second, it gets the pump back where the interference between the body and the bracket are less. So my thinking now is that we could take a 5/8" chunk of steel and make a bracket. It would probably be shaped much like the PSC adapter, and it would have tapped holes in the front that match the C2's pattern to bolt it into the standard Ford bracket. And it would have countersunk holes that allow it to be bolted to the Saginaw pump. But, the Sag's front isn't even so we'll still have to have some spacers. As for cutting on the IDI's bracket, the 460 Sag bracket is supposed to get here on Friday, and again thank you, so I'll look it over and post pics of it as opposed to the 460 C2 bracket that Jim got me - thanks again, Jim. That will let us compare to your IDI bracket. But at first blush it doesn't look like there's a problem with cutting down the lip or wall. Jim - Thanks, that's something to watch out for.
  14. We are thinking alike. Back country, lots of turning and braking equals lots of heat. But, reliability goes down as the number of components goes up. And, as I said, things are going to be getting tight under that hood. We shall see. Anyway, good to know yours has cooled down. And, that the tee is working fine.
  15. Cutting it down when you get here was the plan all along as I knew you couldn't get the whole thing there. But it was easier for me to cut the pillars and know that I have what you need than to lay it out from pictures and hope I have it. And, I have three upper hinges set back with your name on them. I don't think you need three, but they were laying there and I couldn't remember what you need for sure so I tagged them all. What else?
  16. Yes, the blue Permatex will work fine. As for the leak, that is unfortunately very common. Rusty's 351M had the same problem. Big Blue's 460 has the same problem. But the procedure outlined earlier will resolve it - if all the parts are CLEAN. The RTV won't stick to oily surfaces, but if you clean the dam, the heads, and the intake well RTV will stick tightly to both and it won't leak.
  17. May well be the one. But, I think you should have purchased the one from Summit at $18. Lots cheaper.
  18. Jonathan - That is very good info. But, the 2nd article seemed to say that in his application he was having back-pressure problems due to the tee. Apparently the tee or downstream hose/fittings weren't enough to handle all the flow? I do like the filter and cooler. You said that things ran really hot on yours, so perhaps I should think about that. However, with the EFI air box and the power distribution box on the driver's fender I'm not sure where anything else could go. Anyway, thanks. I'll keep reading and thinking.
  19. There's some good info in this thread on the Expedition Portal. One point is that he uses a tee in the return, and he seems to have done this many times. And this thread on FSB says two things significant: Mid '90s astro van has a saginaw pump with a remote reservoir setup. (Jonathan! ) A Saginaw power steering pump for a 2004 Silverado 2500 bolts right up to the Econoline bracket and it has dual returns.
