  1. So, for this post WHYDTYTT is What Have You Done To Your Trailer Today. I loaded it for the show/swap meet. Boy that T-19 is heavy! Or I'm getting old. Still have a few more things to load, but I'm getting there. Unfortunately the forecast is for scattered showers.
  2. Enjoy. And, get better. Unfortunately my printer/scanner is not working in the shop, so I had to use my wife's and it isn't nearly as good as mine. But, I think those pages will work ok.
  3. Romel is trying to fix his speed control, so I scanned in Section 37 of the 1985 FSM and added it to the page at Documentation/Electrical/Speed Control.
  4. Sorry about your injuries. I've scanned Section 37 of the 1985 factory shop manual and embedded it on the page at Documentation/Electrical/Speed Control, and on the Instructions tab. I'm not saying this is far better than what you found, but it is 37 pages long and written by Ford for their tech's.
  5. Technically the question on the registration form is "How many miles did you drive to get here?" So if they took the long way they'd win.
  6. Not "will be", but "have been". Vincent Wayne Thomason from FB has been talking with me about this in the background and had ordered the kit on a Friday when I found the problem. Luckily Sky is closed on Friday's, so it didn't go out. His is due to arrive tomorrow.
  7. Romel - You don't have a TPS on a diesel do you? And I don't see anything in the schematic for the speed control that requires any input from the engine. It gets the input from the speed sensor and you tell it when you want it to keep that speed. So I wouldn't start taking the servo apart. There are testing suggestions in the Speed Control section of the EVTM and I'd try those. Do you have the factory service manual? The EVTM says Section 37 has more diagnostic info, and if you don't have the service manual I will scan that section in this evening.
  8. The white is usually from de-lamination. All glass in a vehicle has to be safety glass, which is two layers of glass with a layer of plastic film between them. That means that if the glass breaks it is held together by the plastic. But, sometimes the two pieces separate and that causes the white you are seeing. Show us a pic?
  9. But the one in the YouTube has a radio mounted in it. Granted it is for the earlier trucks, but.....
  10. David - As the show and this forum "mature" we need to think about lots of things. One I had was to morph the show into the Bullnose Nationals once we get enough participation. Not that we'd exclude the other years, but have a Bullnose section and trophies just for them. As for the forum, I'm wondering about having conversations with the vendors and forging a relationship. Perhaps starting with LMC since they are relatively close to me. Go up and meet with the folks there and explain what we have and what we are doing. Daniel - Here's the link to the Dashtop site and the headliners. And those pics do look the same. You should call them.
  11. I think the pre 1980 does not have that drop in front of the driver. Ill call JBG today. It would be cool if JBG had a profile/account here given that most of the guys here have probably used them once or twice. I've often wondered about having vendors on here. I see advantages and disadvantages. An advantage is that they could pick up on what we need and what we think about their products. A disadvantage is that having them on might curtail what we say about their products. If someone from JBG or NPD or LMC wanted to join and represent them then they are welcome to do so. But we aren't looking for a sponsorship, so their participation would be just that - participation. They could ask questions about what we need, what we think about a particular product, etc. Let's take the headliner case. I think the way they've advertised it is poor. You nor I understand how it fits, whether it blocks the view, how to wire it, and so on. But if they were on here we could tell them that and maybe they'd improve the marketing. Or at least answer our questions and that would document things for the folks on the internet.
  12. Not exactly sure what you are asking, but I'll guess. Both things start with clicking on your name or pic below the name. Then click Account Settings. For the pic click on Change Your Picture. But if you are on a device w/o a keyboard that becomes difficult if not impossible after that. If you don't have a computer with a keyboard let me know and I'll help. For the signature click on Edit Your Signature. Does that answer the questions?
  13. I've already heard what kind of MPG he gets. I have a good idea what your truck gets. And I know for sure what Blue can do. Not much competition from Blue anyway.
  14. You want Paul/Rogue_Wulff to get a trophy?
  15. You, too, are now on the map. But at least in your case I did ask in your intro thread. So maybe I'm not losing "it" altogether.
  16. You are right. Neither of the top pics have the hole for the visors, but both bottom pics do. I think they are using the same pics, which means they are the wrong ones for half the offerings. But, which half. I think you need to buy one and review it for us!
  17. Huh! 7:38am and I’ve already learned my new thing for the day! I've got you beat by 3 minutes! Learned something new today.
  18. If I were you I'd call JBG. I can't imagine how the same one works with or without a headliner. And if so, why do they sell the other one?
  19. Yes, interesting. In fact, very interesting. And, to finish the phrase the way Arte Johnson would, but dumb! No wonder it only has 5K miles on it. I wouldn't be caught dead driving it either.
  20. You are now on the map. But your request confused me as I normally, almost always, ask a new member if they want to be on the map when they post their intro in the New Members Start Here folder. But I figured it out - you haven't introduced yourself.
