  1. Yes, that's the place where it seems natutal to be found, where I would have search firstly. However, I have a newbie question: Is there a more direct way to reach this litterature section of the website? The path I use is really not intuitive: 1-Bullnose Forum Homepage; 2-Then "Resources" pinned item; 3-Then "Documentation" pinned item; 4-Then read Gary's intro and find the "literature'" hyperlink in the text; 5-And boom, finally access the table of available documents. Each time it takes me couple of minutes to remember the "trick". Is there a more direct route? Thanks Gary for your nice work!
  2. Hi Gary, In BigBrother, the motor is not the original one (I swapped it around 2013, was rebuilt in 2015). It is a 351w 4v. Went to NAPA Auto Parts in order to renew distribution cap and rotor, the guy asked me if "code H or G". Since the motor is a replacement one (and the VIN certainly went out during the restoration), can I assume that a 4v is necessarily a Code H? Thanks!
  3. After all these efforts to make "her" look that way, you found the perfect name, for sure!
  4. Hahahaha! Is this the "A Little Humor" thread? Gentlemen, I am laughing so loud, sitting alone looking at my phone, my wife thinks I am getting a little nuts...
  5. LOOOOOL !!! You made my day! Never thought about that, you made me realize that even our pets "talk" our mother's language! Thanks so much for this funny story!
  6. Thanks a lot! I'll archive these clear explanations for future use!
  7. Haha! Thanks Gary! My brother in law is a nice English Canadian guy, from Saskatchewan, now leaving in Whistler BC. He married my sister and, you can imagine, had to learn french. He is very good, I have to admit! His main difficulty was (and still remains) with the gender we apply to almost everything in french. In english, this is less common, almost only for vehicles and boats... We have funny discussions about this, lol! Thanks for your answer, I'll feel more confident when talking about BigBro!

  9. Hi folks! Here is a poor little French Canadian trying to write the best English as he could, lol! Get some difficulty about the gender in English. Trucks are mostly called "she" in yours posts. On my side, I named mine "Big Brother 1984": This Crew Cab is STRONG, BIG, one ton truck, and born in ´84 (the year Apple launched its Macintosh and destroyed in a famous ad the «Big Brother» of George Orwell). For me, it's a Big Boy, made for hard works. So, it's "he". Do all of you smile when I talk about BigBro as a male? What's the rule? Thanks!
  10. Hi Gary, As new member, I'm still in the bottom of my learning curve... - What is a pinned item? - Is there a user guide available, explaining some mysterious functions such as "embed post" or "permalink"? I apologize for my ignorance!
  11. Gary, is there a real performance benefit about a twin snorkel, or is it just a cool looking gadget?
  12. Will do! But, being as you are new you may have missed the last big trip for Big Blue - Gary's Trip To Ouray. I'm guessing that the Ouachitas won't be quite as "wild" as the Rockies, but they will certainly be off the beaten track. Thanks Gary for the link! This trip to Ouray was really awsome!
  13. Will need some picts of Big Blue (and her passsengers, maybe ) in these wild spaces!
  14. Thanks gentlemen, I will examine if I see some part number. I suspect this item was tired to remain in the paint shop, so it jumped in the box with the other trims, hoping to begin a new life here with BigBro. Too bad for it, we discovered this stowaway.
  15. If these old engineers could talk, they certainly would have funny stories to tell us.
  16. Good news, happy that this info helped your find this "rare" part! I am also achieving the interior of BigBro. Just received the new front door locks (had to change them), so I will be able to complete the front doors interior panel installation soon. Pics of the interior will follow. BTW, I just started a new thread (Where goes this black plastic trim). If you have an idea...
  17. Hi people! I am completing the restoration of my 1984 Crew Cab, and in my stuff boxes I found this "mysterious" black plastic trim. Really don't find where it goes. Any help will be welcomed! Possible that it comes from another vehicle, I can't say.
  18. Hi Gary, I got "error 404" earlier this morning... And now it works! Tested from computer and iPhone, everything is OK. Thanks!
  19. Hi, Don't know if the move is responsible, but the "literature" link seems broken (error 404).
