  1. Hi Doc! Just taking some news about your health. How are you doing, how’s going your fight against this stupid virus? Hope you’re doing well.
  2. Thank you Gentlemen! As always, your profound Ford erudition is simply amazing, and keeps me astonished. You have a wealth of knowledge!
  3. I am curious about the mirrors... I bought new ones for BigBrother, and installed them. But I was not satisfied, since the OEM ones were not "angled shape", but more "rounded". I found very nice used ones and plan to change them next spring. This «OEM» Bronco has the angled shaped mirrors... Were they changed (I suspect they were), or are these the real original ones?
  4. I would vote yes. On my side, I did. Always interesting to document "real original" looks. As an example, I am pretty sure Big Brother original rear bumper was much smaller that the new ones available on the market today. This could explain why my hitch is bit too much far under the bumper.
  5. Nice job Gary! Hopefully, you can see the light from the cam lens (as well as the light at the end of the tunnel)! Thanks for keeping us informed!
  6. Jeff's 84 F-350 "Farmtruck". I restored this Crew Cab gentleman from December 2019 to December 2021. Someday, I'll find the time to create a thread about this journey, with lot of pictures. Here is this big boy: Don't know if there are some rules about this Truck of the Month "allowed pictures" thread, but let's go!
  7. Hi! If «Jeff's 84 F-350 "Farmtruck"» is acceptable, it will be a pleasure to propose Big Brother candidacy.
  8. Hi everybody, a little late but Happy New Year!!! For us, 2022 begins roughly, since the containment rules here have killed all family reunions. I whish for all of us a more "quiet" year, and may this @$&@@!#% virus buzz off! Take care of yourself and your family, you Bullnose lovers!
  9. It's simply because you are an excellent storyteller, you create strong images in our minds! We FEEL like if we were there!
  10. Hahaha! Probably not Mr. Wilson, since he is supposed to have already puffed his last "special «m» cigarette", in oder to take care of his lungs.

  12. Hi Gentlemen! Hope you get nice Hollydays! About this subject, I admit it was discussed A LOT before, but still not perfectly clear for me, I went through a lot a confusing discussions (sorry!) For the same product (D3TZ-9932230-B) Dennis Carpenter says 73-96 (out of stock) and CG Ford 73-79 (stock). Do 73-79 rails fit on 80-86 beds, or not? Is it the same kit than E0TZ-9932230-A (80-86 catalog)?
  13. Happy to hear that, nothing's broken. Still following this journey! Have a Merry Christmas with family, Gary!
  14. She should take a look to couple of threads on this forum! About the rear cam position, I personnaly prefer a higher one. Ball mount can vary, depending the trailer height. If for any reason the ball mount has to be flat or in raised position, a lower positioned cam becomes at risk of being "puched" or damaged by a wrong connecting trailer move. About the front cam, I like this engineering project! But I am wondering about the cam waterproofing. I understand all the "clear cover-blue emblem" sealing, but what about the cam residing behind the grill? How do you plan to create a waterproof "box" to protect the cam?

  16. Haha! No problemo! I do not plan to work on that before spring. I have to "combine" three air boxes I found, each one having a well preserved part different than the others. At the end, will obtain one very nice "as new" air box. Too cold these times to play with that. Thanks in advance for the picture!
  17. I do! I said to myself "wow! good idea for BigBro front view", but... Unfortunately, grill emblem is 7" wide, this cam-emblem is 9".
  18. Yeah!!! RIGHT! I have an RC Bronco under it and that may not last the next week either Gonna need a BIG tree this year!
  19. I agree! Much nicer job! But, on the mirror's back, what is the "G" for, «Gary»...?
  20. Good idea to wait until next spring, at least for the new vinyl flooring. Bend isn't as cold as Mont-Tremblant, but you're not in Florida neither... I installed mine late fall, too cold weather, I'll have to heat and mould it correctly next summer.
  21. Good plan. I am simply wondering about the fragility of the plastic box, if exposed in front or on top of the bumper (small rocks, mud, or when manipulating the winch or the hitch).
