You're doing God's work Bradley!  đŸ˜‰
Thank you.

I'm never going to bother defending myself.
I feel that if you want respect, you have to lead by example.

If someone chooses to disparage me, that's their choice, and speaks more about them than me.

I'm on another round of Prednisolone and they swapped me over to Cipro.
I'm still wearing the compression hose and I'm scheduled for an MRI at 4 this afternoon.

I don't know what more I can do (except rest and elevation, like they say)
But screw that!
They call me Redline!!! for a reason!

Latin may be arcane, but it is a good language to know.
Many idioms are really useful.

Here is certainly an off topic item.

I don't pay much attention to professional sports. If something is on that is interesting I will watch it, but I don't follow anything specifically.

I am however intrigued for some reason over the upcoming (July) Mike Tyson fight. 😀

Any boxing experts out there with insight on his chances? Just a publicity stunt or will it be a real match?

Popped in to add to the electric vehicle debate!

I just bought a new 23 Lightning Lariat extended range. got it for $19.5k under MSRP including the 7500 fed rebate.

The primary use for this vehicle is a commuter. My wife was spending $250 a month in gas for her commute with her LR3!!

Additionally, she will use it to haul her 3 horse trailer around town to trailheads etc..

Finally, we will use it to pull our 2014 25ft Airstream, It has a GVWR of 7300lbs and puts ~850lbs on the tongue when fully loaded.  Most of our camping is within 50 miles of our house here in Bend and mainly at RV parks..

I am excited too see how this all goes..

Sounds like you got a good deal.  And that your usage fits the profile of that vehicle quite well.  Looking forward to seeing he well you like it.

Congrats!
I’m curious about its autonomy with and without hauling.
How is it going when pulling a 3 horses trailer
would be interested to see the difference.
Keep us informed!

PS.:  Thinking about naming this Bullnose worthy descendant?

Don’t know why, but when I read at Musk’s Tesla story, I have a “dĂ©jĂ -vu” felling, something as Henry Ford’s early success.
The guy had the guts to start something others weren’t believing in, but his success arrived with competitors, who are doing things differently and successfully.

If you give me the choice between a Cybertruck and a Lightning

He didn't start anything!
He bullied a bunch of geeks out of their company, when they were making electric cars from Lotuse's
Guy was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and he has the sense of entitlement that comes along with it.

I'd take the Lightning any day over some stupid futuristic toy for tech bro's
That said, I'd Love a DeLorean!
(with a bunch of 'upgrades'. 😉)

He is a fellow spectrum occupant so you should be more forgiving

I do like the fact that they reimagined a truck for the Cybertruck... while it looks unconventional and probably not ideal, I like the fact that they did a grounds-up truck. The lightning is likely not optimal (pretty much all the E-Trucks from the big three).. I can tell that much just looking at them. The body of a gasoline truck with minor modifications. Time to reimagine an E-Truck... I'm afraid future lightnings are going to look like the Cybertruck... people have imagination.. wall-street corporations don't..

We named her Elektra !

First towing experiment will be next friday, so I will post.

The 3 horse trailer is no issue. the 7300lbs 25ft Airstream will be a test.

Our normal tow vehicle is a 2013 Expedition Limited EL. It has no issue with either.

Watch this space :)

I made a post, but it got lost in the ether.
Musk is not worthy.

I'm not going to delve too deep into my opinions.
But Space-X is a perfect example.
Gwynn Shotwell and Jim Bridenstine are perfect examples of letting geeks have their head.
