  1. Yes, in the other post and yes, the classic Alcoa is hard to beat!
  2. That looks like nice set. Especially for $103!
  3. My first thought was a weak motor. But hopefully cleaning up those contacts does the trick!
  4. Ya, I figured about the same but wanted to ask just in case. I'll pick up some good compound as I need to do the rest of the truck anyway. I'll be repainting it (I think) and it won't be two tone anymore. You don’t want those sporty decals on there?!

    Fixing Eddie

I put a bypass on my Bronco that shuts off flow to the heater core when I go to Max A/C. But, I found something I don’t like. Driving in the smoke from forest fires, I recirculate to keep out as much smoke as possible. It was warm out, but not enough to need full cold. I tried to control the temperature but couldn’t with no heat in the heater core. I have an electrically controlled vacuum switch I’ll have to install so that I can better control the different situations. I haven’t decided if I’m putting one on my F250.
  6. You guys are funny! I agree, Rusty, I don’t have EFI, but have the electric pumps with the hot fuel handling. I would lose prime on my rear tank in a sweeping right turn. I had two problems, one the connector for the oil pressure switch for the fuel pump relay was bad. Two, my fuel pump was going out. With a new pump it hasn’t done it. Like Gary, I would try it first.
  7. That’s cool! I like the DAV sticker!
  8. Awesome! You’re getting there... I think!

  10. Thanks for the update. That’s good to know. If I’m ever in a position to insure like you are with your trucks, it’s good to know different companies. I have a question or an assumption. If you go overlanding and prang up Big Blue, that’s not covered, correct?
