  1. That's cool! I really liked that you can open it and make it larger, helped me read the smaller print! Printing option is nice when opened, although I didn't try it.
  2. I went with a Holley. This one: https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/carburetors/classic_holley/parts/0-80457SA I am very happy with it. I had never really worked with Holley's before. It also hooked up to the stock linkage nicely. I put the jets down two for the altitude I'm at (4100). Adjusted the choke and it's really running good.
  3. I had an intermittent problem getting fuel on my truck. The connector for the oil pressure switch is bad. It's on the back of the engine. IIRC the sender for the gauge is there also. I don't know if the wire color is the same on a 1984 as my manual is for my 1986. After the engine starts this keeps the Fuel Pump relay on. You could try jumpering the connector.
  4. Those are Happijac tiedowns for a camper. They have the removable piece that the turnbuckle hooks to. You can see the front tiedowns by the trim line.

  6. Personally I would not use sealant.
  7. Very cool! Thanks! Our Suburban has hydroboost.
  8. You need the high pressure line from an Econoline van. The gear box may sit a little differently in relation to the engine, but you should be able to message it a bit and make it work. Mine was less straight forward because I also converted to hydroboost brakes... but if you are keeping vacuum boost one of these should be just fine: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,1985,e-150,5.8l+351cid+v8,1111251,steering,power+steering+pressure+hose,7320 The return line cooling tube in your truck is probably fine, I’d just replace the rubber hose section with by-the-foot stock from your local parts house. Curious as to where or what you got the hydroboost from?
  9. Nice pan! Here's a link to a gasket I bought. It's the reusable type. I have not put it on yet so I cannot report on it. Our Suburban has one similar to this one and I really like it. Although it is not as thick as this one. This one is about 1/4" thick. I also bought one for the E4OD in my Bronco. Haven't got it installed either. My thought is to tighten it up in a cross pattern and torque it the same way. My 1986 manual says Oil Pan to Case 8-12 ft-lbs.
  10. Good on ya! James 1:27 (Even if she's not a widow!)
  11. When I replaced my pins and bushings I ended up aligning the door. After doing that, if I do any hinges again, I may just buy the whole hinge.
  12. I'm going to assume something here, because of the way people say things. A lot of times when they say it needs registration, it needs new tags, not retitled. Says clean title, I know, define clean title! If it just needs a battery, why not put one in before you sell it? Unless you just can't afford one. If you can throw a battery in there and drive off, the price is ok. I wouldn't pay that much, but I'm cheap! However, something about this throws up the red flag.
  13. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/grants-pass/6838464882.html No mileage listed, lots of new parts, needs some things. Rear license plate?
