  1. That is cool! A unique greenhouse. Showed my wife, she wants a greenhouse too.
  2. Oh, thought that was Highly Touted Magical Link!
  3. https://bend.craigslist.org/cto/d/bend-86-ford-bronco/7115575527.html Not much info.
  4. Good find Chad! Got me thinking about my power door lock on the drivers side. Edit: Years ago my brother told me, always check the ground. It stuck with me and has definitely proven to be true.
  5. “Playing Dukes of Hazzard” That’s hilarious!
  6. I think I may have mentioned this before. A mechanic I know told me to get an exchange driveshaft on my Bronco. The rear shaft is short. If he didn’t want to do them, I didn’t! I’m just not set up to do u joints. There wasn’t an exchange anywhere in the country at that time, so I called a local driveline shop. They did all the u joints on that rear shaft for $110.00. Even painted it. The exchange driveshafts were around $300.00. I decided they are going to do all my u joints! Edit: There is a double cardan joint in that short shaft.
  7. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-FORD-TRUCK-Service-Manual-Set-F150-F250-F350-BRONCO-ECONOLINE-E150-E250-350/313057755782?hash=item48e3b24286:g:DpIAAOSwWSJemxWN Not too bad of a price.
  8. That’s cool! I don’t remember ever seeing an Aeronose Flareside. Too bad you missed it.
  9. Congrats! This is good news. You hear a lot of people say that junkyards or pick and pulls don’t have many or any bullnoses to pick from. I had a power door lock bezel from LMC that was incorrect. Lot’s of back and forth emails and photos, but they still sent the wrong part three times. IIRC the decal or placard was put on upside down. For the cost I didn’t want to risk pulling it off and it not going back on well. But, I thought their customer service and attempt was good. I sent everything back, they paid for shipping, and refunded me. One other time, I ordered a part shown as in stock. They quickly let me know that it wasn’t in stock and I could cancel the order if I wanted. I said no, no problem. They let me know when they got the part and didn’t charge me for shipping. I’m writing this to infer that I believe the company has tried to treat customers right.
  10. In my 1994 F250 I used to have with the EFI 460, the best I ever saw was right at 13 MPG. It did have 4.10 gearing though. Better than my 1986, but the 86 fun factor is higher. If we had a bad winter, i.e. driving around town slow and in 4WD, I would get about 6 MPG. I haven't checked the 86 in that type of driving, didn’t want to know. My estimate is between absolutely horrible and terrible!
  11. That is MPG I would love to have with that kind of HP and torque! I assume a lot of it comes from computers used in design and testing.
  12. No, no lead poisoning. Caught it in a trap, one that looks like a big cage. They like red, I used red leaf lettuce and a red delicious apple to get it. I’m in a neighborhood so reluctant to shoot. Opened the back gate and the deer ran up by the front gate, when I headed toward the front gate she went out the back.
