  1. I agree, harder to return items. One reason I go local. I’ve used Summit Racing because they have a warehouse in Reno, so gets to me pretty quick.

  4. Will the VIN number tell you? Assuming that’s the correct one.

  6. I wish the pictures were better. It’s a 1981 frame with a 1984 F250 diesel cab and clip. 351W with a ZF5 and transfer case out of a 1995 I think. Good eye on the tailgate latches. I’ll have to look closer next time. And it was a styleside Cory, again good eye! He couldn’t remember the year of bed but said it was era correct. Edit: That’s my Bronco in the background of the one picture, classing up the place!
  7. I went with my Dad in a Silver Hawk, test drive on a lot. I was young but thought it was cool! Ok, took some pictures of a friends bull. Said this evening he had been driving it for 30 years. Thought you all might like it.
  8. Now that is slick! Please get one so we can see how it looks on our body style That would be nice! As I mentioned height, I’ll probably never get one because I can’t get inside very well anymore. If I do put one on the F250 it’ll be walk in style with a bathroom!
  9. Cool story bro! They used to say that right? Seriously, that is cool!
  10. Weight, if you want to take it on and off. And for leaks. I had a Century Cap on my 94 F250. Fix one leak and two more pop up. It had lots of little windows. Bought an aluminum A.R.E. for it, really liked it, but it was short. Cab height, the Century was a little taller. Although if I bought one for my F250 now it would be a fiberglass A.R.E. with the door on the door. https://www.4are.com/product/walkin/
  11. I agree, if you want one, “free is a very good price!” I’m partial to the aluminum ones after owning both.
  12. Ah, the optional chrome hood release!
  13. Finding one around here is hard too. Same with same era Toyota 4wds. Those Toyota’s fetch a pretty good price!
