Have you tried abs? I'd be concerned with the longevity of pla due to the heat. -
Hi. First, please check the email you were sent and follow the instructions within regarding making your first post. Thank you

Charwood - first off, welcome! Need you to do two things before we can continue though 1. Read the email Jim sent you and follow those instructions. 2. Post your part Identification request in a new thread. This one isn't well suited for it. If you have any questions on either of those, reply to Jim's email and we'll help you out.

Really enjoyed the show and getting to talk face to face with other members. The weather was perfect!

Welcome! Glad to have you here.

Hey John! Yeah, we actually shifted things a day early this year so hit the Gathering place and the aquarium yesterday. At the zoo right now. All 3 are great! Weather is fantastic this year and hope it stays true for the show tomorrow.

I am not a member of the group but from your photos those look nice and give people an option. I understand the reason for going the set screw route but they do look a bit noticeable on the HVAC control. Maybe have two of the HVAC knobs with the screw on the narrow face so it would face down.

Third I think you'll find it isn't too much work to remove the carpet again when the time comes if you don't tackle it all at once.

Let's Discuss The 2023 Show - In Detail
kramttocs replied to Gary Lewis's topic in Bullnose Enthusiasts Forum
Pasting these here to have on this page: Best Engine Best Interior Best Modifications Best Paint Crowd Favorite Farthest Driven ------------------------ I am not really sold on the kids favorite either. I like the year splits you created but feel they would only work if official judges were used. Otherwise it's too much for people off the street to keep track of. I like the crowd voting over judges, I think.., but hey, what's the harm in trying it if there are volunteers that are willing to spend the day there? I would need to read this thread a couple more times but I am not seeing how the 'classic' categories I listed above fit in with the scorecard. Is it a one or the other? If so, I hate to lose the classics. I don't know how your church feels about raffles but a few shows I've gone to have entry fees that provide the entrant with X number of tickets. So rather than having a lot of trophy winners they have a few (like the classics) and then spend some time doing the raffle. Not talking big items but just things like cleaning supplies, matchbox cars, etc. Just mentioning it. Having a hard time really nailing down a "here is my overall suggestion" since I keep going back and forth on my thoughts. -
WHYDTYTT: What Have You Done To Your Truck Today?
kramttocs replied to Gary Lewis's topic in Bullnose Enthusiasts Forum
Looking really good! I guess in the vs question, I just fall in with how Ford usually did them - I like the plastic in my low trim flatbed since it's easy to throw wrenches, gloves, etc in them and I can see stuff as I rummage around in them. In the high-trim 86, I like the carpet style for looks but the elastic and shape makes them pretty useless as far as functionality goes for me. I think Gary may carry his extinguisher 'stick' in his and that's about the best use I can think of for the carpet style. Something you don't get out often but is in a close location for when you do need it. -

Sway bar bushings replacement
kramttocs replied to Littlebeefy's topic in Bullnose Enthusiasts Forum
You said your old was 2.5" and the listing shows your new should be 2.5". Is it? Is so, what's different? If not, you may have just gotten the wrong pack (I did on my first set from Amazon). You definitely have options but I am curious how the new differs from the old. -

I've never understood that site. Most of the time it seems like they are showing old ebay listings? -

I am not going to be much help but looks like I used Energy Suspension 4.5103G on the 86 which best I can tell is the same height as your Prothane at 2.5" I know I have my old bushings in a box in the shop but I don't expect them to be E8TA. Are you unable to measure your originals? -
Wow! You are efficient
