  1. That's a bad deal. Always two, or three, sides to the story but still a shame for the truck.
  2. It sure looks good compared to the 9 I got with the C6+OD Hopefully we aren't scaring you too much Jeremy although it might be worth signing up for a gas station benefits card
  3. Glad you got back in before the storm. Wind was rough here for a bit. On the bright side - there is still the one clear test to perform before any head scratching.
  4. Says the man with essentially the same combo. OK, so I might be a little biased At times I am jealous of the manual tranny though.
  5. I bet Gary is spot on. I forgot to loosen mine when changing body mounts and it threw me for a minute when my shifter didn't feel right and no longer lined up with the indicator. This will hopefully be a quick and free solution to your park woes
  6. Not new, but something to compare with: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324619896936?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item4b94da8868:g:MuYAAOSwTwtgnBfh&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACkBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%252Fn%252BzU5L90Z278x5ickk5v8gVt3hEWLVg%252F253w6XCRdiRuXBDwS5tkrEI8%252BzPcQ6e93%252FCopyil0RTSYop%252B9HzbQzuSY9Kfna2jUHn21FLR9MRmWRIScxfrVt7Mxb8Bj%252Fl6GHhZWaYYex3VOxObaiPO8PLi8Rsh5J6OjDcbxOpOFWhMP2gT0m9gX98sycmZ%252BNegdoQOZnr87GsBWNEi47%252BRZLyzNd08Z%252BQWr5LrwWfrYFWQNzsy73OuqQ%252FiQ6%252BgnwNAs62d4xhFv%252F3lzwQcCiBI6tFmhZlL0D1y4FV7Z7QbaHbiSFmSGDrrOkgWxonJPCLokqx5XSiyeRD1ZrSc34Y2uYR6EVuOrDTyevgKn8tUQQHv2ZBZNmabY7b8sfAiQs09XNcrfrNqQ8ty%252BTvn3adFTJyDR9pno9g%252BIakZ8DXEERhazdJVSquIhzYLtbNQ%252BCl%252Bn74ubHmtZwoUrimVU8mchhDNNNVzFQsHCfFoBxQrgBAIJdISPWEthYcGU5oT70D3Ylqc81UX73AIbQd%252FCdR5uxP44Jzh0g3oE%252FKRoRM3UC2FfI7bDZDyFDm0cpNtEGhiR5Jg2rCuokwudBhFHioVachw91kz29oO8lwL5pgngvK%252FW%252FW960V%252BKxvNvZE%252FjE3rQ8dESOGNUaTCCkvqgVQUiDwMvQfp%252BM50vP0sHhdsi0ozNReNN5YMi3Zs%252Fft4HvG7271JXk%252FEizPuThNR2Mnp6MG1%252BMMGzRZpeEMGyfOBG9bzJ9Sg%252BDz6i5ZX24dTgdTidISUyE2Yn%252B6tVYJ0q0qT7wYtrqbFdiNWR369xMgTSOLZVHIfKw%252FxN1l0CRgdkKiySll%252FaNlti%252F3%252BHsr1Ld%7Ccksum%3A324619896936c06456327f7f4adf99728d4dc33cb47f%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2334524 Nice find!
  7. Yours looks nice and clean so it if all tested as working, I'd keep using it but look for a spare over time. Dane - looks like the B is for the 302 EFI although as you said, maybe it will work? The 460 is F (assuming steel tank). I've had an ebay alert for one of those for a couple years and I don't recall ever getting a hit. For that alert I do sometimes get notifications of Airtex E2484 so maybe if just the pump goes out, that would be a suitable replacement?
  8. Now this is interesting! We currently have a similar setup (copied from the security thread): (Your paint skills have nothing on mine ) This may be the exact reason I have been having sporadic speed control behavior. Really looking forward to your findings here.
  9. That difference in connector numbers for the fuse box add-ins is odd. Don't get me wrong - having it in an all in one table is going to be the best. I was just trying to avoid you having to recreate any data that is already in the EVTM. But that is based on my assumption that one will always have the EVTM in one hand (or browser tab) while referencing the new Connector Table as a supplement. As a standalone document though, filling out anything and everything about the connector regardless if it exists in the EVTM makes sense
  10. I should have been clearer but I was meaning just the page numbers of the diagram where the Connector is shown. So diagram # = page #. Since the Component Location table you listed is already in the EVTM I don't see a need to recreate that information. I am thinking of something simple like: Connector Page C123 45,50 C124 44 C124 33,18,12 (made up data)
  11. Looks great Gary!Nice and tidy. For anyone interested more on the horn relay - here is a discussion we had with some options.
  12. I guess what I am thinking is that it's going to be unlikely for someone to have only the CXXX number and not any other context/info on it that would let them know which section in the EVTM to look at. That said, since the EVTM only shows what is relevant for that section, I can see the benefit of knowing what else is using that connector. For example on the Digital Clock page C125 is an 8 terminal connector but only 4 are represented in the diagram. A quick way to see the other 4 would be nice. For that a simple printout of the connectors and the diagram numbers they are in would be something I'd immediately print out and store in my EVTM.
  13. I'll admit I am not yet seeing a big benefit of it over what the EVTM already provides but am looking forward to the discussion and result.
  14. I challenge anyone here to watch that without smiling That is insane.
  15. Been watching to see other input as well but that approach sounds like a good plan to me.
  16. This one? E0TB-16098-A Didn't find any either but you can make an eBay alert for if one does show up
  17. Welcome! Glad you joined We've got a guy here with a knack for finding hard to find things.
  18. Thanks for that info Jstas In my 86 I have a Reese hidden controller but in the 80 and my dad's 00 2500HD we have Tekonsha 90160 Primus IQ's. No complaints with either.
  19. Wheel arches are different. Fuel necks (doors?) and tailgates are different also so depends upon how much mixing and matching is done.
  20. Good point Dane - I just tried it on my phone (Chrome on Android) and it's not bad at all to drill down to the various Engine/Emissions sections
  21. The most direct route I am aware of is through that 2 bolt bracket under the dash, through the bearing to the shaft, to the frame of the steering wheel, and then to the horn button via that wire with a clip that goes into one of the bolt holes. Do you show ground continuity on the column itself? And the shaft behind the horn button/pad?
