  1. I thought this might provide ideas for someone wanting to fabricate a tire rack for inside the bed on a truck: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-1996-Ford-Bronco-OEM-Factory-Spare-Tire-Carrier-Rear-interior/292659283338?epid=1480824085&hash=item4423da458a%3Ag%3Ab2kAAOSwAoFbXQyf&_sacat=6030&_nkw=Ford+Bronco+factory+parts+1980&_from=R40&rt=nc&LH_TitleDesc=0%7C0

  3. I have had good luck coating the back of the rubber with dish washing soap and pulling it from the bottom, using pliers, while applying pressure on the top. A shot of silicone spray inside the groove allows it to slide around the glass. It take patience, but works!

  7. The window weather strip is like an upside down "U", so it takes care of the front, top and rear of the door glass. The vent window weather strip is separate. See #7 on this link: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/search.aspx?searchTerms=weatherstrip

  14. Wow! You are the 1st that I know to do this and report back with good results. Please report back as time goes by as I am certain others will welcome the updates. Congratulations!
  15. Otherwise there's really nothing that tells someone how to find us. Yes, they can Google Gary's Garagemahal, but will they know to do that? Gary, as always, you are most generous and this time are paying for shirts. Make the design simple to keep prices lower or let us pay for the shirts. It is customary for participants in events or races to pay for their own shirt. I know how you entertain guests and it is expensive. Just my 2 cents worth.

  17. Keep it simple... go with your 1st idea: Gary's Garagemahal FORD Truck Show on the back.
  18. Gary, I have an idea and want to run it past you. I am posting it in the forum in the event others might be interested. I plan to leave the Skiatook area Monday morning. Since I will be around on Sunday, could I join your family and attend your church? If others are interested [does your church have enough space for out of town and out of country visitors?], everyone will know the location since the church parking lot is where the show will be. What are your thoughts?
  19. Gary, that is how your Garagemahal sign was made.
  20. Gary I’m not quite sure what you are saying here... I did blow into the fuel line and heard bubbles come out in the tank. Are you suggesting this forced the screen off and may be causing a problem? It behaved the same before and after blowing into the line... What Gary had described is what some Ford Technicians used to do. They used enough pressure [with gas cap off!] to literally blow the sock off. They then put a filter inline between the hard line and the fuel pump. Jonathan, I will give you my distributor which I took off for the NOS one I located [a few months ago]. The one I am offering is the one I have had while driving for all the time we have known each other. It is the one Gary worked on and has been recurved.
  21. One of my memories is walking to a little diner in the snow [it was very cold] and finding that many of the vehicles were left with engines running while the owners ate!
  22. And, it was real. Extremely real. We brought back a treasure trove of parts, and a truck that needed help but not money. So far the most expensive "repair" has been to have a vacuum pulled and freon added to the A/C. Yes, I've done a lot of work on it, but basically I've spent essentially nothing. It seems to me that the real deal is Janey!
