  1. Assuming that the tail lights don't work either, I'll bet that both bulbs have blown filaments.
  2. Taden - You are going to have to be more specific. Saying "the device that all the bars attach to" doesn't tell us much. Presumably you mean 21812. But, if so you need to say that. We need you to tell us exactly what you need. I'll post the picture below, but am also uploading the picture as . If you will download that, open it with Paint, and circle the part #'s that you need, and then post the picture here we will know. Or, if you just list all the parts you need we will know. But some way we need to know the part #'s you need.
  3. I don't understand "Still no parking light but just on the back". Are you saying that you have parking lights in the front but not in the back? The blinkers and the park lamps use the same bulbs, but different filaments in the bulbs. So just because one filament works doesn't mean the other should. Maybe you have two bad bulbs?
  4. Let's make sure we understand - "turn over" doesn't mean the engine rotating with the starter. It means "run" or "fire". Right? Have you checked to see if the computer is trying to tell you something? And there are steps for testing the EEC-IV systems in the Resources.
  5. Let us know. Hope it works. Can't understand why my iPhone works and yours doesn't.
  6. Good looking truck! Show us more.
  7. Electrical diagrams are best found in the Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual. Go to Electrical/EVTM/1986 EVTM in the menu. That gets you to the top level. From there you may want to go to #3 Fuse Panel & Circuit Protection to see what fuses power what. Or #12 Stop, Turn, & Hazard Lamps for those circuits. Hope that helps.
  8. I moved your post about the menu issue to the thread called Do You Like The New Menu? And, that took my response to you about it to that thread as well. I'll put the front bushings on the to-do list. But if I don't get to it in time please ping me.
  9. Progress! No, there aren't any part numbers for the bushings. Yet. Do you need them? Also, did you see that I moved your post and my response on the menu?
  10. Jim - Good catch. But first, I've moved your comment from WHYDTYTT to Do You Like The New Navigation Menu? I did that to keep all the comments together - hope that's ok. Oh, and I changed the Subject so the emails will show correctly. And, on the menu I reduced the character sizing from 15 to 11, which finally got everything for the 1986 EVTM on the page - on most of my devices. This Windows machine shows it all, and my iPhone allows scrolling. But on my iPad in portrait mode I don't get all of the words/selections. However, if you turn it landscape you do see it all. So, how 'bout your 'Droid? On the opacity, let me make sure I understand - do you want the characters less black. In order to test just a bit I have the first menu's style set to "Bold", and the sub-menu's style set to "Normal". Beyond that I don't have many controls with this theme.
  11. From what I saw when looking at 1985 CA trucks with an auto tranny, it looks like they were all AOD's. Rick/Fonzie can tell us for sure, but I don't think they really had a lock-up torque converter. But, if the torque converter is not slipping that could certainly cause a stall.
  12. Tell us more - are you still blowing a fuse? If so, which one?
  13. And, by the way Chris, I'm using Google's Search Console as well as their Analytics on the web site. There are just a few links to this site on the web - see below. I've followed up on several of them and so far all of them show the true URL, with no ??'s - other than FTE. So, are you seeing the ??'s someplace else but IB territory?
  14. Added 12 vacuum routing diagrams for the 1984/85 302's. Found a new source for them - the 1985 Car & Truck Engine/Emission Facts Book Summary. It has a page for each calibration code that gives a lot of info. Looks like this, although the files attached below are much more crisp. MUCH! And here's a . And 4-54R-R12.pdf. Now to figure out where to use these......
  15. Thanks, Dave. Good to see you on. Any progress on your truck?
  16. Ok. Now I understand what you are wanting to do. But, where are you seeing the ??'s? FTE? That seems to be an FTE thing. Go here on FSB and you'll see that hovering over the links for this site have no ??'s. In fact, it looks like they might have included this site in the voting for top 4x4 or offroad site. Or go to Broncozone. Same thing. In fact, if you go to FTE and hover over any of the links they don't show ??'s. So, where are you seeing them?
  17. And to prove that this site isn't static, go look at the 302/5.0L vacuum routing now. As it turns out, I have a copy of the 1985 Car & Truck Engine/Emission Facts Book Summary, and it has some info on the various calibration codes for 1984 and 1985. I scanned the ones for the 302's into pdf's, and they came out crisp - with the exception of 4-54R-R12, which needs to be re-scanned. Anyway, hope this helps.
  18. Interesting! Thanks, Bill. That helps. I'll check to see if there's a way around that.
  19. Unfortunately your signature hasn't shown up yet, so maybe you could just tell us the details about the truck? But, hopefully you found the calibration code today. To give you an idea what can be found if you know the calibration code, let's use code # 4-54R-R12, which is for some of the 1984 & 85 CA trucks. I have a book called 1985 Car & Truck Engine/Emissions Facts Book Summary, which has the information shown below for that calibration code. (Note: I'll be placing the pdf's of this calibration code as well as the 11 others I scanned today on pages on the website. And the pdf's are very sharp/crisp.) And then from the catalog I have the calibration parts list for that calibration code: And then if someone really needs the deep detail on one of the carbs I can post the 4 pages from the catalog that give the scoop. For instance, notice that the parts list shows the carb # as 95.2AP. So, you go down the AP column on this page and following ones from the catalog.
  20. This is the stock eccentric off Dad's truck. (Was cleaning things up and came across them.)
  21. I don't understand why you have the Gary's Garagemahal always showing. Here's what I see from my iPhone 6 and Safari. I wonder if there's a setting?
  22. Jonathan - You are using an Android? I'm on an iPhone and iPad and don't have any problems with the text box, much less the menu. In fact, for me the change may have fixed the text-box scrolling issue. So, can you take a screenshot of the problem? And tell me what device you are using? And the browser? And, if you are having problems I fear Jim will as well. So we will need to fix this one or find another approach. 😳
